Looking for Shipping Contract Advice

I have recently upscaled my Production to the point i cannot handle the transportation logistics anymore. I've started researching the pricing for shipping corps like Red Frog and PushX. There are two areas I am hoping for some advice on.

Background Info:
Approximate Value : 15,000 iSK / m3 (ex. 1 Billion Isk = 66k M3)
Starting location: 1 Jump from high sec , not Jita, Trade hub
Ending Location: Jita (or Amarr)

Question 1: How big a shipment can I go and still have a reasonable chance of it getting accepted (I know 1 Billion ISk collateral is typically the limit, but do pilots actually accept those contracts?)

Question 2: Should I get the product moved to the nearby minor trade hub first and use that as the origin instead. Would it make a huge difference?

The collateral limits are in place because it keeps the piolits safer from ganks. As long as you're not over the limit you are fine. The typical 'safe limit' is 1-2 bil since people are less likely to Gank you at those loads vs someone coming through with 5+bil in cargo. I run a freighter service and I use that same collateral limit for that reason.

I also assume that your package is in lowsec (ie 'one jump from high sec') may take more time, in my experience, because you'd need to wait until someone is willing to go there - but you would have more luck in that end if you use a service like Black Frog where the piolits utalize jump freighters to get items safley from low/nul.

All of the other bits, you would be better off asking people who run the actual services. I know this two you mentioned do have ingame channels and contacts you can poke for questions about specifics.

My staging system is actually still in High Sec, I'm there mostly for customs office tax reasons.

when I used the websites to quote out pricing to Amarr/Jita, the shipping cost was only 24-36 million (depending on cargo capacity involved). That doesn't seem seem like an attractive reward to the freighter pilot when it involves the 1 Billion collateral. Or maybe people just don't charge as much if they can AFK it?
