What would you be looking for in a 3rd party program?

Hello, I'm looking to start a project using ASP.NET Core as a way to have a full project in programming from start to finish in my resume.

The first step is determining the needs of those who may have an interest in using such a program, so I reach out to all of you for your feedback.

My question is this: What do you, as players, corporation and alliance leaders, trainers, etc., want in an 3rd party program? What kind of tools could you use that may not currently exist?

Any idea is welcome, and there is no such thing as a bad idea.

There's one kind of app I am currently missing: A waypoint app.

I used to do lots of exploration, and in order to set a route, I used the ingame browser with http://evemaps.dotlan.net/ to plot a route. Now the IGB is gone, but ESI offers a way to set waypoints through the API. But I haven't found any program that yet implements this functionality.
