me friends were thanking of trying to play alpha I now going to tell then now not to try this game stay fare away omegas will give you grief

Then play as alphas.

I don't know why you think having a different mining ship is going to make any difference. The game play is the same so if you want to mine with your friends why does it matter if you can't use a better mining ship? Perhaps you'll get bored and want to upgrade (which is what CCP's business model sort of is) but you are welcome to try it.

There are game balance and business reasons why alphas are limited in what they can do. Shouldn't you try out the current alpha options before asking for more?
