Please can some one just point out to those in the positions to make these choices. That reworking capitals designs needs to be seriously bumped up the ladder. for these reasons:

1. power creep has meant capitals get way way more use now than before. They also represent EVE in a huge way when it comes to motivating new players for ships to get to. They are some serious GOAL ships.

2. Above considered Capital designs are some of the oldest in the game. That have received little to no change.

3. The texture res on some of the bigger ships really is starting to let the game down visually.

4. The Thanny is painfully ugly.

Make the nyx fly on its side like the ring of Uranus.
It's such a pretty shipping it's almost a shame it flies horrizontally and you just see it's profile as a skinny line. I'm thinking the same for the archon. A sharp pointy shell of a hull on top, one on the bottom, sort of like 2 Providence's stuck together and have all sorts of neat stuff in between.
For the aeon make the launchpad central, and give it an opposing hull and then the central launch pad will be joined by large structural scaffolding almost.

Delete the revenant. It's garbage visually. You didn't even try, admit it, apologize, we will accept the apology, and you can start over.

Surprisingly the nidhogger and hel look pretty good despite being minmatar ships. Spruce them up a bit, no major changes required.

Wyvern remade similar to chimera.

Thanatos also vertical like nyx but more myrmidon inspired as more triangle that saucer like. Like a large vertical b2 bomber myrmidon.

No clue what to do for dreadnoughts or Titans.
