I'm using Pi-Hole as a DNS level ad blocker which has flagged a new URL being used by the launcher as of recent. I've included a screenshot below. I could just white list the URL but I'm concerned that an ad-blocking service has flagged a javascript file in use by the launcher. What's worse is even clicking ignore just closes the launcher. I either white list the URL or I don't login. Any comments on this?

Hi there and sorry for the late reply, I didn't know about this thread until now.

That JavaScript file is part of Microsoft's Application Insights platform which is a tool that we use for performance telemetry to measure the performance of the SSO in the launcher and the web, so we have more data to work with on making stuff faster and more resilient.

In this case the JavaScript file is being loaded from a CDN owned and operated by Microsoft so it is indeed safe to whitelist.
