buying game time through steam...WTF???

so today i logged on and went to buy one months game time but on the eve account page i was told that because my game runs through steam i had to purchase the game time through the steam store, so i went ahead and did so but nothing happened, except ive been charged £9.99 for game time, no code was issued, no game time was added to my account ( i hve several accounts also and was wondering how this would work)
what am i doing wrong here? where is my game time?

If you install the game through Steam, can you convert later to using the standalone, non-Steam version?

Only if you do a character transfer. This (used to be at least) is the only way, afaik.

Hi guys, let me address a few points here:

1. Regarding your game time purchase, some payments through Steam have a delay for security reasons. If you have not received your game time yet, then please update your support ticket to CCP so that it includes your steam order number.

2. You should be able to make a CCP login for your Eve account created through Steam. Follow this guide https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/203523662-Setting-an-account-name-for-Accounts-created-through-STEAM for more information.

3. Our new forums are live. When you feel up to it, start posting over there as this forum will be archived in a month or so. So go on over, have a look around and give CCP some feedback :D
