Buying Skins with Plex

Hi there,

i've noticed while all skins can be purchased from the market with ISK, only some can also be purchased with Plex. Why is that and do the Plex ones also change? Like is there a chance that Skins that are now ISK only will/might be on New Eden store later on?

If I remember right I bought some "blue tiger" skins from the store that were advertised as "last chance to buy". But some came back with the new store and my sell-prices are now limited to the PLEX prices.

Skins in the New Eden store are mostly "limited edition" Sold for a while and then removed from the market. Sometimes, as with the current rogue drone event, old skins reappear as loot.

All skins can be sold on the in game market as long as they haven't been activated, whether they originally enter the game as loot or purchased from the NES.

You have to keep in mind that the Market and the Item Exchange Contracts are player trading features. Ships, modules, PLEX packages, outfits, skins on the market are placed there by players, who got them elsewhere and are trying to re-sell them for ISK.

So, the fact that an item is available on the market doesn't give any indication about its initial source, or future availability from that source.

CCP is trying to keep the prices of skins and outfits as high as possible. To that end, they only release things for a limited time, overpriced, and only in a few realistic ****** colors.

Ok thanks for all the replies...

I was just wondering because there is a neat looking skin / color combination (i am at work and cant remember which one) for some gallente ships like the ishtar that i can buy for plex, but the same skin for the helios for instance can only bought for ISKs. i checked it up on eve-central.com and the skin was not on the market anywhere.

so i wondered do i need to wait for somebody to sell it, what will the isk price be then or will they also put the skin for the helios in the store as well. in short: will i ever get it? Lol
