rogue accel vs injector pricing

Anyone know how much SP one of these accellerators gives you? Assuming you're training skills that you're fully mapped into.

The accelerator gives you +10 to each attributes. You get 1 SP per minute per point of primary attribute, 1/2 SP per minute per point of secondary attribute.

Regardless of which skill you are training, you get +10 to your primary and secondary attributes for that skill, so that's +15 SP per minute, +900 SP per hour, +21600 SP per day.

A booster lasts 24 hours at base value, so it's worth 21600 SP. A skill injector is 500k SP, but how much you actually get depends on how many SP you have. Assuming you are in the 5M-50M SP range, which I would think is the most common, you get 400k SP from a skill injector. A booster is thus ~5% of an injector. A skill injector currently goes for ~720M in Jita, 5% of that is 36M. Of course, the availability of the event boosters is such that you shouldn't pay that much.

Note that if you train the Biology skill, you increase the duration of the booster by 20% per level, thus increasing the SP/booster and estimated value from the above calculation (having the booster for the maximum of 48 hours with Biology V would double its "estimated value").

However, you can only have one booster active at a time, whereas you can inject 10 injectors right now if you can afford them, so the comparison is a quite flawed: a booster is less valuable than the fraction of an injector it represents because they are really easy to get, you have to wait for it to give you SP and you can only use one at a time.

Also, what happens when it expires? Does it vanish from inventory? Do the effects immediately terminate or is it just impossible to inject at that point and the effects carry on, etc.?

If it works like regular implants you loose the effect after you have been released from your ship and pod P

Booster is like a drug. It only affects the clone that consumes it - if you jump to another clone or die, you lose the affect. The boosters expire at midnight Eve time June 29 so expect the price to drop dramatically as more of them enter the market and we get closer to the expiry date.

If you intend to use them train Biology - it's an inexpensive rank 1 skill you can train to level 3 in a couple of hours. That will extend the life of the booster from 24 hours to 38 hours.
