All,

The incoming (already here if tomorrow) reduction to carrier DPS isn't the real problem with carriers. The problem with carriers and ratting is the Networked Sensor Array (NSA).

This module was fairly recently introduced with the last carrier engineering effort. It increases scanres 500%, and shuts off all ewar abilities. Nobody going into normal combat uses this. A fleet might...but a fleet isn't what is involved with this problem.

This is primarily a PVE module. It literally disables PVP functionality.

Get rid of this stupid module and then the carriers won't be able to lock up and manage all the PVE targets anywhere near as quickly. Best they could do is be forced to do a double sebo or something like the olden days.

I want carriers to be a valid escalation option in PVP, between battleships and dreads. Right now they are kind of crappy and without extended jump ranges just aren't as useful.

Carriers....now almost as useless as Rifters.

No. The REAL problem is the amount of ISK in anomalies, you see. And if we nerf carriers in PvP, that fixes the problem.

Understand? Comprehende'?
