Using the Old Industry "Teams" idea to bid on new NPC agents for null sec agent usage. They can give all level missions plus Burner missions with a downside. The longer they stay in one location the larger the LP "cost" becomes.

You get an interface for any new citadel to bid on agents or see what agents are available in your citadel or citadels you have access too. The bids can be made by CEOs or directors on behalf of corporations or alliances but are a global bid like the old teams were. The agent then moves and sets up shop in the winning citadel and takes an LP "cut" of each mission ran. As time accrues so does the agents LP cut to create a value nerf over time for the duration of the bid contract usually of two weeks. So there is a decreasing reward factor for each agent and has a modifier based on each agents quality or level quality; like the old teams an agent can be bonused for certain level payouts in isk or LP or even in standings gains or specializing in burner missions.

Agents are all pirate faction agents from anywhere or could even be "rogue" high sec corporation agents that have enough contacts to get jobs but have been forcibly "retired" or kicked out of their corresponding corps but still keep the faction allegiances. This comes with a cost, which is the effect of the LP/rewards payout for each mission based on who hires them by winning the bidding process and who they originally work for or are affiliated with based on the standings system already in place. So a serpentis agent working for the period in Guristas space would get a -1.0 modifier, but working in angels space would give a 8.0 modifier. So though you would gain these LP in different areas from different spaces some areas would offer better rewards to certain agent and the trade offs would be something to factor into the bidding process.

All LP accrued would be in the form of LP tokens dropped from the NPC pirates as loot instead of bounties and can ONLY be redeemed IN the stations and space of the token holders. So though you may have gotten Serpentis LP in Guristas space you would have to go, and dock in an agent station of the serpentis corporation in order to redeem them. And if the agent is an old high sec agent the tokens themselves become illegal to transport in the high sec space and allies of the agent. So a Caldari agents tokens would be illegal in Caldari and Amarr but legal in Minmatar and Gallente.

Salvage and loot would make up for some of the value of the wrecks to keep a minimum level of income. Yet the greatest reward is the LP.

And because the agent, for their time and risk, takes more and more of an LP reward cut for each mission the relative value will drop a lot in the time making a break even point for the bidding process. Agents are greedy people you know!! You cant trust them!!

At any time you can dismiss the agent and they will go back into the bidding pool. LP gained from such agents would accumulate in the citadel and could have a drop chance if the citadel that harbors the agent is destroyed while the agent is still in residence. The accumulation would be a % of the daily aggregate totals of all LP gained that the agent takes a cut from and would STAY in the citadel even after the agent leaves as a drop. So over time a busy citadel could potentially drop a lot of tokens of all sorts if destroyed worth billions. Imagine what Umokka or Motsu could drop if the agents kept a paltry 10% of the LP for themselves over time from all the mission runners?!ShockedTwisted

Another option is that this LP resides in the Ihub and destruction of it would result in the drop itself. I personally like the citadel idea better.

Fortizars and Azbels only can claim agents and any medium sized citadel CCP puts out in the future.

The drop chance is the % of each days aggregate total daily or weekly in each can. So multiple spawn cans would shoot from a destroyed citadel much like the relic/data spew but wouldnt be destroyed but simply keep moving until off grid and then be lost forever. The speed would be relatively low but enough that over enough time they would be spread out considerably.

So showing up and stealing containers with tokens or loot would definitely be a thing.

Cheers enjoy the show!!

Do you really want to crash the value of LP? Because that's what this level of farming that would result from it.

You would be able to list all the bidders, or at least their corporations and alliances, and though you wouldnt necessarily know who the winning bidder is you would know that it is one of these groups and citadels they own. You would also know that it only lasts for 2 weeks and that with a dropping LP rate per day it would amount to a race to run run these missions before people found you and could literally use you for content. Then there is the isk sink itself for the bidding process and the isk sink that LP rewards are in general.

Other than that yes I am okay with nerfing pirate faction LP by this idea. Burners and other such missions inject far too much into the economy as it stands imo.Blink

Then you have the ability to totally destroy a medium citadel in order to fully stop someone from farming this and then stealing their LP loot in the process.
