CCP Phantom you speak like a politician not like game developer...what are you talking about....about which balancing???
Only capitals who need to be balanced are dreds,,,,But u are nerfing carriers and supers... U talking how supers and carriers to much effective in PVP/PVE..Did u guys from CCP ever play EVE???Two or three Naglfar will kill Supercarrier without problems....You will probably be satisfied when 10 caracals do the same thing... 15 bomber will kill carrier in about 2-3 min
Talking about Supers and carriers generate to much isk so u nerf it to death....Why u did not forbid multiboxing insteadi of that....
With these changes only active solo players are affected, not afk ratters and multiboxers.
I've read about 50 pages of negative comments but CCP don't read that ...and CCP Phantom talking how CCP take care about players opinion....What kind of hypocrite
In CCP Phantoms defense - He is just the puppet chosen to deliver the news, he doesn't actually have much if anything to do with what he posts, good or bad..

My opinions are mine.

  If you don't like them or disagree with me that's OK.- - - - - - Just don't bother Hating - I don't care

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

well on the one hand i kinda regret spending so much time in skilling fighters V and minmatar+gallente carrier. but on the other hand i think that making ratting harder and less effective in carriers is great.

increase the prices for pirate stuff, reduce income. make money more valuable and make people use cheaper ships again instead.

and to all those carebears who are crying like little girls about how they are not able to do their freakin 60 mil / tick (i do it myself so dont play it down): you lost any idea about the worth of isk. "end content" is not to just undock and generate an infinite amount of money, it is not to be able to field marauders in pvp just for the lols because you can easily replace it with two hours of ratting.
just deal with it. on a longterm, it's a good thing.

"shakes head at CCP"

Had 10 accounts now over 12yrs down to my last one which runs out July and I bid all at Eve farewell sick of the bull s h i t not doing it anymore.

CCP seem more interested in new customers who come and go, rather then supporting a very loyal client base who spend a lot of money on eve. maybe Microsoft did buy eve after all?

As a ten year player of the game I can say with confidence, CCP you are stupid.

Once again instead of refining a great environment with a surgeons knife you dismember it with a jackhammer. When will you ever learn?

A 30% reduction in super damage? Nerfing rorquals yet again? Have you ever played this game?

It is just so easy to balance this game....Reduce the damage application by supers i.e. make them hit rats and not instapop cruisers duuuuuuuuuuuuh, keep their ratting dominance, and keep rorquals as the drivers of industry... I just don't get how you can make the same stupid screw ups over, and over, and over, and over.

Lets summarize...Decrease ratting yield $$$$$, decrease mining yield $$$$$, decrease deadspace drops $$$$$, just admit you need money. Sad. Sad. Sad. Maybe we can just all play WoW.

It's because with skill injectors CCP added a fast way to make money, money from new players. Only very limited amount of old players is needed. Just how it worked a year ago

- Hey, there are so many shiny ships here, - a newbie says.
- Yep, I farm on Thanatos and make 180 mil per hour, - older player said.
- And I have a rorqual, after latest boost it mines so cool! - some miner said.

So many new players set their goals to get some carrier or rorqual, they spend money to speed it up, enjoy their new toy for several weeks. CCP income drops and they need to nerf what is cool so people would need to buy injectors to learn smth else.

Accepting isk donations for ammo.

@CCP Phantom. Why not take the same process with rorquals and carriers as you are with T3C's instead of flipping everyone on their heads who have spent months training to reach goals and to enjoy the fruits of their dedication!
Instead your making hasty and rash adjustments that cause Havoc on the economy of which you claim is the reason for such chamges in the first place...

they didn't even inform us of the changes, we found out at the same time as you guys

No tears or whining from this Goon. CCP let us build incredible wealth and power over the last year or so with over-powered mining and ratting game mechanics. Imperium pilots taking advantage of these mechanics have become beyond rich. We have huge stockpiles of minerals , Super and Titan hulls are now in stacks in our hangars. We have 1000's of faction battleship BPC's in stock.

Now for the majority of the rest of the player base HAHA!!! Good luck now trying to match or counter what the Imperium can field now!!

CCP has made it very easy for us now to do as we please , and very difficult for those that have not reached that level.

The "nerfs" of late have basically given us the "Green light" to roll over and destroy our targets , with absolutely no risk to us.

This is a classic case of "too little too late" Imperium economic reports prove this.

I say good luck to the rest of the player base countering our next "we are not out to ruin the game , just your game. " endeavors.

Keep up the good work CCP!

Welcome to Eve, Constructive questions can never be considered rude.

What's going on here is the culmination of over six years of CCP screwing over the Eve Community. I took a look at some of the Alliance Chat logs I have from way back then, you could hardly fit a word in they were so busy, Scroll forwards two years and CCP's change to Jump bridges had really taken hold, Alliance chat, well you could have written a novel in there and few would have noticed, the community has still not recovered from that one issue to this day.

Another year on and the Nerf fest had really infected the game, hundreds of accounts un-subbed down to a EULA issue, then Cap nerf's, Fatigue, Fozzie sov, you name it they lashed out at it, the final insults, Pay to win skill injectors and Alpha clones and they are still not satisfied as there still at it, more mining nerf's, more cap nerf's, more rightfully angry players.

By your own hand be it that the market is on the verge of runaway inflation, you sowed the seeds years ago and are now reaping the results, You had a thriving game full of interesting and vibrant players, no wonder they left the game.

I run a Corporation about to celebrate 15 years in game, our leadership was looking for a meaningful way to share this achievement, seems from the comments I am now getting it will probably be a wake.

Way to go CCP.

Humanity is the thin veneer that remains after you remove the baffled chimp.

Just want to add to the furious numbers in distaste of the carrier changes, What about the pilots that don't sit there all day ratting, and have minimal time, time enough to not bother un-docking if isk vs time vs risk is against them.
it was good to know it wasn't going to take half a day to replace a mediocre ship loss, a few of ticks in my carrier could suffice without me having to sacrifice RL completely. Having big ship losses now will probably result in more demoralisation and bad feeling than it already did knowing that replacing said ship will be twice the work/ time invested it already was (unless u get your RL wallet out)....Rage quit and go play something that does not require 24:7 active attention with minimal reward I think ^^

This change will only cause problems with people in low sec and null sec area's. This doesn't fix problem's it cause's them, how about fixing issue's other than causing them.

Maybe start fixing current problems with the game than adding more crap and nerfing things that current players do to make some kind of income

Carrier ratting in one of the most interactive and player input things to do in the game, If you want to fix the game start with AFK income

Just because you hired some micro management fool to think up new problems for you to fix

But the slippery slope will continue and you will continue to lose current players and replace them with Alpha clones to beef up your member base to show that you have more revenue than you do

Justy a note to all of you that are worried about the fighter nerf for carriers. If you have spent the last 3 months and/or skill injectors (which all translates into real world money) to train into a carrier only to have it undergo a major change that fundamentally alters gameplay, then you have the right to cancel your account and call your credit card company to have your subscription fees clawed back from them.

If they sold you a bill of goods, got you to pay for it, then changed it, you have the right to get your money back. Just remember, you have to cancel your account first.

Thx CCP Plankton

"balance pass"- I guessed the nerf values xP
Domi & Ishtar- the potatoes get a lot of love. Will the "upside down" domi bug be added as a feature?
Drone event- new AI? Better rewards in low/null or will this again be a 90% HS event?

I surely wish that pilots would realize that Eve, as is also true with most everything in Real Life, inevitably changes over time. Eve MUST change. If it didn't constantly change and evolve, our favorite fantasy universe would probably quickly get boring to many pilots and the universe would surely eventually die.

The big issue here seems to be that significant numbers of mostly very experienced and capable pilots found a way to project large amounts of power and generate large amounts of isk with a proportionally minimal effort and time actually having to spend playing the game. To be able to efficiently do this, pilots had to have certain lengthy skills trained and had to have certain significant amounts of extremely expensive ships and equipment ready and available. So, of course to be able to quickly cash in on the sovereignty and the isk making bonanzas as soon as possible, many pilots probably spent real life cash on skill injectors and also on plex to be able to accelerate their participation in all the wonderful feasting that was ready and available to be enjoyed. With larger and larger numbers of pilots beginning to take part in the feasting, it became only a matter of time before the gods of the universe, CCP, had to step in and nerf the whole situation. Too many pilots making too much isk too quickly and too easily is always too too bad for the game.

I suspect that there are plenty of undiscovered or little known opportunities to still be able to strike it fabulously rich in Eve Online. Perhaps it might be more beneficial to stop complaining about needed and necessary evolutionary changes that inevitably nerf a favorite activity and start focusing on using intelligence and dedication to discover the next Eve gold mine or the next diamond mine opportunity. And please, if anyone did spend lots of real life money on multiple omega accounts or skill injectors or plex in pursuit of quick and easy isk making (or power or glory or whatever) a good question to perhaps ask ourselves is: "Did I do this knowing full well the risk and rewards or was I somehow tricked into doing this by the all-powerful gods of the Eve universe?"

If it is all about the ISK income, is it really so hard to nerf that instead of making carriers or other capital ships crap?! If we want more bigger fights where CAPS are involved, it is a crap way to encourage ppl to use capital ships when every update make them weaker not only in PvE but in PVP also. In my opinion its easier and more acceptable by players to nerf isk income from rewards instead of making ships that cost a bit weak s***.

Maybe start fixing the game with:

- "not stopping" the training queue
- improve performance in bigger fights

instead of making caps useless hulls that look nice...

Well, here goes another time when people are unhappy and complain.

I think you are doing ok ccp, and I encourage you all to work your hardest on finding ways of building something that will motivate people to want to have good times and be happy. I think you get some of your ideas from religion, and that is ok with me. Maybe there could be an area of religious type parts to the game that have to do with each factions core theological ideas.

For those of you complaining, I get it. However, whining only comes back to you and slaps you right back in the face. That is unless you don't care, in which case even worse things happen. Look at the bright side, there are all kinds of opportunities in life, let alone this strategic, interactive game. Grow an imagination and figure out how to have a good time without carrier ratting all day is what I would do.

Maybe one day, all will be content. Until then, figure it out.

Given the bounty amounts from Delve and Deklein and the rise in bounty prizes. The fighter nerf is a good first step but personally I don't see it being enough.

Null sec is meant to be a place of greater risk and greater reward, not just a massive gravy train.

The biggest problem in the blue donut is that there is no reason to expand your borders. I mean why would you if you are already sitting on a gold mine.

The CSM gets in the way of CCP communicating properly with the players of this game.

After all we are not just players, we are customers.

Time for the CSM to be disbanded.
