strongest passive (ehp) tank wanted

i want to send some small but valueable items through highsec via autopilot.

is there any ship that can fit a stronger passive tank than a bricked freighter has?

i'm looking for ehp only, not shield recharge

How much is small stuff?

To get "freighter size" ehp, you may want to look at an Orca. An Orca can be fitted to have about 500,000 ehp

In some smaller than Orca ships, you might be able to get about 150,000 ehp.

probably better off using a instawarp + warp speed fit interceptor and just manually doing it, or setting up a courier contract.

damnation is probably another option, but cba to check it

Get a sub-1s align Hecate for high/low-sec ferrying of small volumes (>450 m3): Put in Propulsion Mode, get 4 Domination istabs in the lows and a 5% agility hardwiring in slot 7. Make sure you have Evasive Maneuvering and Spaceship Command both at V.

This thing doesn't get a massive 500k+ ehp tank but you cannot physically shoot it, point it, or shipscan it. The only things that can touch this ship are smartbombs, doomsdays, and bubbles. And also pilot error, naturally.

Four Dominations won't do it, even with a 5% implant. 5% plus two SS plus two T2 does the trick. Leaves three rig slots for HVOs. Mids can fit a decent shield tank in case of smartbombs. Pretty much love this for a quick courier:

I would use something like this:

only 41K EHP before any implants are added, but it can warp while cloaked, and cannot be cargo scanned so instead of a bunch of catalysts, you only really have to worry about nados on the undock, a Nado can only do about 12K alpha with max everything, so you would need at least 4 nados willing to take a chance on a hauler that might well be empty. On top of that, if you use instadock and instaundock bookmarks which you really ought to, there should never be a chance to lock you anyways.

If you want to autopilot in something brick tanked, if it is worth ganking, it will be ganked, just actively pilot a blockade runner or actively pilot a DST with the cloak/MWD setup.

Freighter ganks prove the folly of the single larger shipment idea especially if you are going to autopilot.
Multiple ships that are faster to align and have faster non-warp speeds carrying smaller loads are a much better idea since they reduce the risks of a single ship being caught and even if one is the many smaller loads minimizes the losses.

Instawarp by default (in speed mode)...

Aligning in a time period between 1 and 2 seconds is *almost* entirely safe. Aligning in less than 1 second is ENTIRELY safe. There's a difference.

honestly, the scan immunity is quite possibly the single most redundant role bonus in the game.

If a triggerhappy ganker can get a lock on you, they can (and will) point and shoot you.

except most of the time they wont because they have no idea if you are a profitable target or not. And you can buffer tank a BR to tank 1-2 tornado shots, which is more than most are willing to throw at you. I've tried to bait them a few times and they haven't ever taken a shot at me.
