What's the minimum recommend EHP to run Sanctums?

Any idea? I'm trying to avoid over tanking so I can focus more on dps.

in pve I typically think about ehp/s either provided by active tank mods or passive shield recharge rather than raw ehp.

cruiser sized hull will probably get by with far less tank as they mitigate most damage through speed and sig tanking. Where a BS hull will be able to run an active tank that the npcs can't break, and if the tank does start to break you can MJD away

there are also tactical considerations, a brawler likely needs more tank than a kiter for example.

probably best to ask for fits from people you play with as they will likely have better knowledge of the area than people on the forums

You need to give way more information than that if you want reliable help. What kind of ship do you plan to fly? What kinds of rats (ie guristas, drones, angels)? And Why Sanctums?


In general though, "overtanking" is not an issue. You WANT to be overturned, people will eventually come into you site and tackle you (even if you take all precautions, everyone gets caught some way, eventually. More EHP means more time for people to come help save you if that is an option. More tank and time means more time for the rats to switch off you and onto whoever is attacking you.

I have around 10k ehp when my hardener is running :-)

Of course I'm flying a droneboat cruiser doing 1.1km/s so drones to no damage to me...
