What happened to player owned citadels?

I REMEMBER WHEN THESE WERE COMING OUT THE BIG DEAL WAS THEY WERE NOT GOING TO BE CORP OWNED WHAT THE @#$% HAPPENED TO THAT???????????????????? NOW I HAVE TO HOPE THAT MY CORP OWNER GIVES ME RIGHTS OR I WASTED ALL THAT TIME TO BUILD ONE,OR FIND A WAY TO MAKE MY OWN CORP AND STILL BE IN MY ALLIANCE. THIS IS CRAP YOU MADE THE (PLAYER OWNED STATION) NOT FU@%$^& PLAYER OWNED BUT CORP OWNED AND NOW YOU WENT BACK ON WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT THE CITADELS AND CHANGED THEM ALSO. WELL REALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR A REAL GAME TO FINISH SO I CAN PLAY THAT INSTEAD.

A corp is owned by a player and a citadel is owned by a corp ergo a player owns a citadel through a corporation.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

You look at the thread title, caps with question mark spamming, and you already don't think too highly of the OP's mental capabilities.

Then you check the OP's post (not read, that's impossible nor would you want to) and it further cements the "what an idiot" feeling.

Then you casually check his killboard and find he loses untanked hulks

Then you check his other chars and find that he makes all caps clown posts with that one as well , and still loses terribly fit ships




And you wonder, why even bother with answering the idiotic question in the first place.

I don't know why I try, but here is what you do:
1) Make new corporation with an alt.
2) Deploy Citadel using this alt corporation
3) Use the access list to give docking rights to your main character, or possibly your whole corp/alliance. Or even completely public.
4) Enjoy the fruits of your hard work

If, by some chance, your alt corp is wardecced and the structure attacked, add your alliance as the free defender and they can help you defend it. If it is outside of highsec, they can help you defend it in any case.

Wow none of you get the point, yes a corp is owned by a person duh!! They (CCP) originally stated that a person not with corps rights could deploy one now they change their ways, so now you have to have corp rights to set one up. Was never stated anywhere that I saw and now it's a hassle to get those rights cause not everyone wants to give them to just anybody. And yes I could form my own but then would have to be in my alliance and they are not allowing corps made with only a few people in them. Also I'm pretty good at doing things on my own and not relying on other people, they (CCP) have designed this game to where you have to be in a big group to do just about anything. They have also made it better for people who want to PVP and not for the passive ones who just want to build and transport. They need better ways to get away from camps and tackle. Now look you have got me off track...... Yes there is a lot of things I can't stand about this game and it's game play, but some I do enjoy and the people I am with make it bearable.

IE Through a corp they said you didn't have to be. Don't want to have to go through the corp I think that's stupid.

Wow so once again It's all about the killboard (Fu@# that sh@3) I can give two shi#@ about a killboard that's not what the game is to me. And anyone who thinks that's all this is about needs help. And it doesn't matter how tanked you are they come in tackle you and you can't do anything about it but watch your ship die. So it's pointless to tank it. And the caps were for attention grabber. And if you really have to go and do research on some ones killbaord or other characters just to reply to a forum you need the help.

You sure your not thinking about the smaller things they are talking about adding soon that won't have docking? Although I am unsure whether they stated or not if those were personal or corp.


BTW, all caps isn't allowed, and will get your thread locked. That isnt the only thing wrong with your post though, the swearing will get you locked to. you can do this ********, but putting the word in and only changing a single letter is considered dodging the censor and is specifically covered in the TOS/EULA. Also it is pretty much a RANT, so that is another strike against it.

I followed the discussion quite closely when the new structures were being hashed out. I do not remember anybody from CCP saying that you could have them without being in a corporation. Can you find the quote to back up this claim?

A week ago the public engineering complex I was using in highsec ran out of fuel for the 3rd time. It was time to build my own.

I created an Alpha character, trained corporate management level 1, created a corporation and deployed a Raitaru which my other highsec characters can use.

Don't understand what the problem is here ...
