Rule Clarification: Impersonation of characters on Thunderdome

Hello, someone has made a character on Thunderdome with my character name, and applied to the HYDRA RELOADED testing corporation on Thunderdome claiming to me. The application was ignored/rejected. Is this a legal tactic? Presumbly to try and get access to the corporation kills/losses page on the war tab to see fits, and see any bulletins/MOTDs in the testing corps. Because on the Tranquility server character impersonation is a breach of the EULA, and several people I personally know have had GM warnings for applying to corporations claiming to be X's cyno alt on TQ to spy.

Logibro said on tweetfleet-slack that he would rename them, but not if the normal EULA violations apply. I would certainly petition it if I were you.

They should really enforce using your regular char name this year since the feeder rounds are also held on TD. Assuming EVE NT will be there to broadcast, pilot recognition going into the main tournament will be completely lost when teams bring out a lineup completely filled with Marvel characters. Not to mention the possible legal issues that would bring to the stream.

Pretty unethical to do; and not in the sense that is still ok in EVE.

Total crap move and the player should be banned for impersonation in my view. Hope you submit a ticket.

If someone is actively attempting to impersonate a character from TQ on Thunderdome, you should file a ticket. This is something we take very seriously.

For those watching at home, you should not be trying to take the name of someone else's character on TQ. And furthermore if you do so and attempt to pass yourself off as them, you're going to have problems.
