For some reason, the topic in the linkage below has been locked. I am reviving the discussion of the thread below. There is a graphics and sound issue with mining lasers. My retriever started up its lasers, targeting sound fired then ... nothing. Looks like there might be a bug with both the sound and display of the actual mining lasers.

I came back after a long hiatus. And when you can't see and hear the cool effects of the game, why mine at all??!!

I'm experiencing this issue as well. Have been seeing it off and on all day. I've made no changes to my hardware or software.

What was your workaround?
