Stuck at the start of the tutorial.

Hi guys, I'm new to this game and I received a problem which won't allow me to progress through the tutorial.

So firstly, like I said, I'm new to this game so... I have to say sorry for my... lack of knowledge. When I start up to the scene where my first transmission came in after I finished my character creation, the game doesn't allow me to respond, or at least that's what I need to do according to some video I watched from YouTube.

How to fix this or how to advance to the next scene? I am stuck and have tried a few methods such as re-logging, creating a new character, and even re-download the game but no avail. I hope you guys could help me with this problem since I am pretty excited to play this game.

My PC's Spec:
Intel Dual Core 1.8 Ghz
4 GB Ram
AMD Radeon HD 5500
(I also have tried to lower the graphics setting to the lowest, but it didn't work as well.)

Forgive me if there's some mistakes in my post as well as my stupidity for not noticing simple stuffs inside the game. Thanks for your time.

Here's a video of it and as you can see you don't have to do anything (you can't really talk back to the commander in that scripted event); he'll just continue talking and assume that your radio is out, but will activate your ship and give you orders from there. Just wait a bit.

If you wait a bit and nothing happens, then perhaps there's a bug that prevents the next step in the dialogue from happening. Try to create a support ticket and have the game masters help you out. They usually try to reply fast to get new people unstuck and started with the tutorial mission.

I linked to the minimum system requirements page above. Your CPU is slightly below the Dual Core @ 2.0 GHz minimum but I doubt that is the issue. I linked the page anyway in case you wanted to read through it.

EvE just had a major patch, and some "aftershock" patches.

Verifying your install, along with flushing the cache, can sometimes help with odd client behaviors.

GM's really love to help newbros get their space-feet, so don't hesitate to file a petition and ask for help. The "stuck" petition probably applies in this situation.
