....General Broadcast.....

New Eden should go on a Universe Wide Red Alert.

If you are an Alliance that maintains a non-contact with Reds and dock up policy you need to check your local suns for aggressor staging points.

While you are docked up and the Reds hang around keeping a Red in system for a few days that mandates docking until the Red leaves then you alliance has most likely had a Engineering Complex placed close to the your systems sun that can later be used as a staging point for Cyno ships to bring Cyno in assault groups into your system.

Goonswarm and its Allies are using your non-engagement and dock up policies to place Engineering Complexes in your systems.

The best defense when a mobilizing aggressor Citadel has been discovered is too immediately maintain warp bubbles around your gates into the system to keep any front line assaults from massing in your system. Make them Cyno in freighters inside of the bubbled up system and then trap their gate assault fleets in another system.

Honey combing your Alliance territories will keep the Gooner Queens in their cells while they are slowly stung to death as the drones try and take out the bubbles around the gates.

Defense In System

Cyno Inhibitor Depots- Another tactic is to deploy Mobile Cyno Inhibitor Depots in your system around the clock and close to the aggressor citadel. Overlap their deployment so that when one goes down another one is still up and running to ensure 24 hour coverage. Place the depots at 100 km from the aggressor Citadel at four points.

Mobile Warp Disruption Depots - Place Large, Medium and Small MWDD within the cells between the Cyno Inhibitor depots at 100 km so that any ships landing on the outside of the cell cap will have to AB or MWD through the bubbles to destroy the depot.

Interdictor Ships - Heavy Interdictor Ships should be used to pocket mark areas not covered by the Cyno and Warp Disruption Depots.

Encounter Surveillance System Depots - Deploying these depots in a system where a large enemy fleet is expected will obviously generate Temptation for the attacking fleet to pillage the Depot and collect the mass of wealth. Because the Encounter System has a warp bubbling field it can be placed around an aggressor citadel and then further bubbled using Large Mobile Warp Disruption Depots to further trap any would be raiders trying to gather the loot.

Command Ships - Use Command Ships to warp away smaller vessels from the fight exposing the larger ships to the overcoming assault of frigate, dessie and cruiser barrages.

wow! where do i get a tinfoil hat?

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Humm, have the sov mechanism changed, thought you couldn't do that with the territorial claim unit in place.
