Recent spike in Wormhole signatures - a cause for concern?

Because that's Thera. Thera used to be W477-P. The Jovian stargates are gone. All of them. They worlds in the systems they were in were torn apart by whatever happened. They are the Shattered wormholes. The closest thing we've seen to an intact Jovian stargate since has been the lightning-charged debris fields at the heart of Drifter Hives.

- Since Thera is a well explored system, would you consider a wormhole leading to it something unusual? I don´t.
- Since i don´t, i wouldn´t includ Thera in a "let´s wonder what kind of crazy stuff could be behind wormhole number 256"
- Since my wonder and questions pointed to crazy stuff like "Different realities" "EVE Gate 2" "Jove Space (further specified J7HZ-F Region" i ask you one thing.

What the hell are you talking about? Because it´s another entirely different subject compared to what i´ve been writing.

See that third item there? 'crazy stuff' like 'Jove space'? That's what I was talking about. Wormholes going to Jove space aren't 'crazy stuff'. We see them every day, throughout the Shattered systems. Any Jove system you want to ask about? It's a Shattered now.

More, since we know the connections from the system in question were mapped, we knoe what was behind them. None of it was 'crazy stuff', it was... C2 wormholes. Known ones.

In effect, you've asked 'Imagine what crazy things we might find in our own pods!' There's no point to that. There's enough mystery about exactly what happened without adding more pointless specualtion... about things we already know.

And wormholes like this, maybe not on this scale but with out of control spawns have been found in the past. Some people got very rich very quietly.

Are you saying that all the anomalies were explored in their brief appearance?

I'm saying that 16h, with a large number of different groups coming into the system, is more than enough time to explore a few hundred cosmic signatures (which are not cosmic anomalies), yes. Using a much cruder version of scan-probe technology, I used to explore 40-60 signatures in a single system in maybe 2h. I've had scanning chains of 40+ signatures in each system, 8+ systems deep, that I did on my own for the daily scanning. Between the entire very small j-space corp I was in at the time, 500+ sigs in a single 12-hour window was not uncommon.

While this many wormholes in one place is extremely rare, this many signatures is not a large amount to work through in the time-frame discussed.

I offer invitations and greet those who wish to practice a travel inwards, it´s a very personal and individual journey, i can´t "expand" someones mind, they do it themselves.
