Yeah I know, there are a lot of fake bids though and bids that get withdrawn so I do a lot of bidding below the current high offer, and I frequently succeed at purchasing below the highest posted offer. Plus when you have the 10 hour window and people bidding on multiple toons liquidity becomes an issue and sometimes even in good faith people can't meet their offers. Like, if everyone I bid on said yes at the same time I wouldn't be able to pay. I'm sure others are in the same position. The 10 hour thing is a huge issue.

There's no way of confirming any bids or even transactions here, like people could say that they made a purchase that never happened, and people can fluff bid with their alts, etc. In that environment I just have to state what I'm willing to pay and be willing to lose if someone closes higher. I accept my ignorance and adjust thusly. :)
