Good day folks,

I read this,
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4908046#post4908046

And on the next page post #240 from Fozzie.

But, I'm seeing different behaviour now. People came into my hole from my static, with no other signatures. My static is connected to their hole. I DID NOT warp to the sig in any way shape or form, I didn't even scan it down.

So, from what I can tell, one of the following should be true.

1. The mechanics are no longer like CCP Fozzie stated
2. Another 16h WH appeared (I just didn't see it cause it's gone now), and someone from there went to my sig
3. There's a bug.

So which is it?

A corp mate suggested that someone could have also logged out a scout in my hole, and then scanned their way out. So that's another option. Still curious if the mechanics have changed.

The universe is an imperfect place, holes open all the time. Probably wouldn't worry about it mate :)

My hobby: Warping to all wormholes in my chain, than collapsing those that do not interest me.

I used to have a real problem with people who kept PI alts in my hole scanning down the static and warping their products out when I thought I had the hole closed. It's a good reminder to never stop D-scanning just because you think you're isolated. You never know who might have logged off in your hole or when they might log back on.

Thats the Point. Keep an eye on D-Scan every Time, or just close the statics by yourself just before you begin to PI or sleeper etc.
If you see any other Ship or Probe on D-Scan you must accept that the static is no longer closed.

Then you need to talk to these folk and lay down the law of the land. Successful wormhole living is all about communicating with each other.

I'm sorry...you misunderstood. I wasn't presenting a problem to the community to solve for me. I was making the point to the OP that anyone in your hole can generate your static. I'll let you know when I need some help. But thanks for that incredibly useful reply - I never would have thought of that.
