Hello,

I know that there is a Journal and a Transactions tab in the wallet, giving us some information about what we were selling and buying, but sometimes that just isn't enough for me.

Recently, I canceled a few market orders to set them up on a different station. Since I was canceling a few market orders, I wasn't paying a lot of attention to all the exact orders and item names that I was canceling. As a result, after transporting these items to the new station and setting up new market orders, I noticed that I was missing one item. I could only remember that one deadspace item was missing, but couldn't remember what item exactly. Guessing that maybe the canceling process didn't work properly and I didn't get my item back, I wrote a ticket asking a GM to check the log files. As it turned out, I did cancel another market order, but it was an order it set up on a totally different station, different region and everything. Well, how embarrassing! :)

This is just one situation where extended market logs would be really nice. It doesn't need to be a super fancy tool, but having access to log file data like

• when I set up a specific market order
• when I canceled a specific market order
• when I changed the price of a specific market order

would be really helpful. So I could investigate on my own first before asking a GM for help. Of course, such a log should also include the old information. Maybe some other information in the log would be nice, too, but that's what I can think of right now. Filters and a search function would be a necessary addition. Entries could like like:

If you want to go even further, accessing the log from and of every character on one account would be a convenient extra. Or about the contracts: Sometimes I set up delivery contracts from one character to another, but then decide to open the box which results in a contract fail. Having a log entry that says "X opened the box at Station Y and the items have been dropped there" is helpful if I forgot where I opened the box and left the items.
