Incident Type: Attempted Pod Self-Destruction [1/3]
Case Number: 07-100023
Date: 2017.04.03
Location: H4-RP4 Kyonoke Inquest Center < Postouvin < Orvanne < Solitude

Investigator: Salik Haberdeen
Deputy: Indt Aimeguier
Technicians: Bryn Deget, Iluelle Oloque, Avele Lelynier

Subject #1: Unknown Decedent #60020 [Photographed on the left panel]

Subject #2: Unknown Decedent #60021

Subject #3: Unknown Decedent #60022

Scene:
Unknown Decedent #60020 (S1) recovered from one of several similar "QUARANTINED" labeled pods that continue to appear near RP4 Astral Mining Platform. Technicians were able to interrupt the self destruct sequence on three pods in order to collect intact specimens to verify if the capsuleer clone using the callsign 'Kyonoke Infected' actually contained the deadly pathogen. To the investigator's surprise, all pods recovered do not contain the individual displayed in the initial autopsy report that went out over IGS channels.

Additionally, the three bodies recovered do not contain the kyonoke virus; however S2#60021 and S3#60022 do display considerable amounts of cerebral trauma (aemboic vegitative breakdown, not prion degeneration) and dermal tissue plastination. In the case of a pod explosion and depressurization it may even be difficult for an entry level medical examiner to distinguish between the effects of kyonoke and what S2 and S3 display.

S1 appears different from the other subjects. 5'9'' middle aged white female shows signs of torture and her pod contained a considerably larger explosive load than other pods encountered. Had it detonated the corpse would not have been recoverable.

Documentation found on S1 pointing to her identity is sparse. A scrambled data drive fused into the clavicle was recovered. Information on the drive was mostly incomprehensible save a few seemingly important entries.

Yeah, further ruining an IGS already under the strain of so much rubbish.

This report does shed some light on Lauralite's concerns of a madman doing experiments on folk in the region.

I used to be a drug enforcement agent on a mission to get capsuleers to kick their bad booster habits.

Nice corp there.

So this whole talking corpse hoax is a sex bot viral marketing campaign?

It appears that way. This is such a weird, risky, and by most accounts illegal way to run a viral marketing campaign if they are testing and disposing of civilians for sex bot formation. Albeit, if they are using homeless and refugees in their experiments they may fall under the blind eye of certain loopholes in articles of the cluster's human rights charters.

I really want to get a closer look at their operation.

I am no longer on the force, but I still do have some pull with my contacts in the DED to start determining which station this sex bot manufacturing facility is located within.

What's with all these supposedly Kyonoke infected capsuleers publishing lab reports on the IGS?

Well, that's the thing a bit. They aren't actually Kyonoke carriers, only...homeless, partially plastinated people who were transformed into sexbots. Which is...better? Less contagious, at least?

I could quote Scripture about how this kind of thing is Unrighteous.

But then I'd have to go and look it up, and this kind of subject matter does not make for particularly enjoyable reading.

So, let us assume that I did, and that I quoted something relevant, condemning This Sort Of Thing.

And let that be a lesson to you !
