Character Xfer with Paypal?

Hey all

Can someone explain why I can purchase plex with paypal, but can't use it to transfer a character? Is there an option I'm missing - need to do a character transfer today and didn't think I would be running into this issue. CCPlz just take my money...

Use plex to initiate character transfer. Go look up the character bazaar forum on the details.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

You can use plex or a payment of 20 dollars to CCP. I am looking to do the latter, however I only have access to paypal due to restrictions on out of country purchases.

Just Buy the Plex with paypal then use the plex to Char Transfer?

Why would I pay CCP 40 Dollars for 2 plex, when I should only have to pay them 20 dollars? In what world does that make any sense?

As for the OP. Best to send a ticket and find out what options are available to you for cash payments. They can be pretty helpful when it comes to taking your money.

I actually did this a couple of years ago, but the response you get is basically the same information you find on eve online sites.

I've been paying my subs by direct debit for more than six years and I've used other online payment services ranging from paypal to bank transfers too without any trouble, so from a customers perspective the restriction is just bad service and completely arbitrary.

I'd really like to get a decent, comprehensible explanation by CCP on why there is this restriction on PLEX and credit cards.

Remove standings and insurance.

Honest question, is the minimum number of plex you can buy 2 in your country? It's one where I am, but obviously that could be different. I'm just curious

The minimum you can buy is two if you want to use them as a transfer payment, if that's what you are getting at.

Which it must be, because it would be pointless to buy one.

Thanks, I've never transferred a character, and saw you could buy a single plex on eveonline.com, so I was confused.
