Total Net Worth Broken or am I missing Assets?

So after multiple debates in the Player Help Channel and Amarr Local, I still can't figure out where my assets are. The total net worth says that I am worth 1.25 billion ISK, 650 mil in raw Isk but the other 600 mil it says is in assets, however I have 0 market orders, 0 contracts and my only assets are the base fit velator that I am sitting in right now, so either the tool is broken or I have missing assets and no idea how to get them back. I tried EVEMon and that shows that I don't have any other assets, so I am kinda at a loss but if I do actually have missing assets I would like to find them, as I am trying to return to EVE after an extended break.

One way to check is using a program called jEveAssets, not sure if that would show impounded items though.

It might be that a lot of your stuff is impounded (was in corp offices that didn't keep up payments, etc) but it'll still show as linked to you in the DB.

CCP has indicated in one of the feedback threads for the feature (too lazy to dig out which one right now) that the Total Net Worth feature is incorrectly counting some plugged-in implants and some skill books as "assets" though apparently not *all* skillbooks and not all implants.

That's probably where your weird total is coming from.

Use the Personal Assets app in Neocom to find stuff. Evemon doesn't know about Citadels and seems to have a selective memory about outposts - sometimes it finds stuff, sometimes it doesn't!

It's pretty inaccurate as far as I can tell.

My builder has about 150 billion net worth and only shows 96 billion. I just figured things in cans weren't counted. And we builders keep a lot of stuff in cans.

IIRC it does count stuff in cans. Also stuff in space, Citadels, Outposts, ect.

What it doesn't count is Blueprints, since CCP doesn't currently have an accurate way to estimate blueprint value. At a guess that's probably where your ~50b skew is coming from.

While it's not that important to me personally, I do like to check that content CCP delivers actually does what they say it will.

I was actually surprisedd how much it said I was worth. I'm going to have sit down and figure out where all of it is. I know a good chunk is in the couple of capital ships I own, but the number it gave me still seems a few billion to high.

Though now that I think about it, I do have a bunch of implants laying around I haven't plugged in. That may be the difference.

Yup, totally in favor of testing things thorougly and ensuring they work correctly Big smile (I even do it for a living)

If you find something that isn't being counted, or is and shouldn't be, then by all means file a bug report!
