I don't know details on everything you ask, as I never had the reason to connect there.

But I know it's online too. You need an Omega account to join. As far as I know, you can spawn yourself a Titan by some commands. And mine with it.

Well i recently read up a bit and joined and it is what ever you had at the last system mirror (so if your flying a ship of one type when it mirrors then change to another you will be in the first ship on that server until the next mirror unless you get yourself another on the test server) and im only an alpha and i got in fine. now im trying to get out though because CCP being the pricks they are want to 'share my data with third partys' yeah, no thanks. i have no need for undy adverts... Oh and love your little quotey thing xD dont suppose you have a spare billion ISK laying about so i can turn on easy mode do you? xD >NOTE< >THAT WAS A JOKE< >NOT< Begging... suppose i should keep jokes like that to a minimum though huh?

So you want to be a 40 year old with nothing better to do in your life, just playing alone in your basement in a totally antisocial way, rather than as part of a community.

You're not alone. There is a big group of you. We call you Carebears. Also called MAMINS - Middle Aged Men In Nappies.

Pot kettle. LMFAOTwisted

This is an entirely hilarious response.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Public test server: Singularity

The public test server, Singularity (or Sisi), is open to all players. Its purpose is to try out new features - normally the next major patch for Tranquility will be tested on this server. Character information is replicated (=mirrored) to the Singularity server every few months, but keep in mind that if your account got created after the last replication, you will not be able to access the server.

Gameplay mechanics and playing environments may be quite different from what you're used to on Tranquility. Here, the world is constantly changing.

Quote:
https://community.eveonline.com/support/test-servers/singularity/

Singularity (Sisi) is a public test server for EVE Online that is used by both CCP developers and EVE players to test changes and new features before they are released to the Tranquility server. Test servers have a very strict set of rules.

Its primary function is to provide a test environment as close as possible to the live environment of Tranquility. For this purpose, the Tranquility database is "mirrored" (copied) over to the Singularity server once every few months (or more often, if needed by the CCP Quality Assurance department). For testing the performance of the server and client with many players at the same place (especially fleet-fights) there are periodical mass testing events.

The Test server doesn't sound too bad, definitely sounds great for making vids and writing up guides.

OP wants to play Egosoft's X-Series.. Buy X3: Reunion, X3: Terran Conflict and X3: Albion Prelude and you have what you want.
Stay clear of X: Rebirth.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Stange, someone invited me a few months ago for training, but I couldn't join. I was pretty sure it was 'cause of the alpha state. Maybe I missed something.

So Tranquility keeps calling you. Good thing, thought we lost you forever already. Keep up, being presistent and inquisitive pays around here.

Lucky for me, I don't need to consider your tempting request, as I'm an injector-junkie, so I spend all my ISK on drugs before a whole billion could pile up. Smile

I felt same way you did back when i first started but then i learnt to pvp and gotten good at it on other charecters, now the hunted became the hunter and its even more fun when you kill a 40 yearolds with no lifes bling ship

Its a nice idea to have game in an EVE universe that you could play even alone, at night, somewhere in the woods, without using computer.

CCP made a game that can be played that way (only with few other players) before they have made EVE. Maybe they could reskin it and sell as something in the theme of EVE world now. As for single player game of that type, I suppose some electronic version would have to be made, for smartphones.

i want to play EVE offline,

I'm curious what exactly you believe this eve offline world would be like?
what would you do in it?
would you spend all day running lvl 4 missions? well your gonna need a ship for that right, so just buy one off the marke... oh wait, theres nothing for sale on the market, because there is no other players manufacturing them.
Well I guess your going to need to build it yourself. so buy that blueprint, jump in your rookie ship and get mining (or I guess a venture since the NPE gives you one of those) and lets hope it doesn't get blown up by belt rats while your out there.
want drones for that venture to defend yourself, well your gonna need to mine the minerals for that one first as well.

Don't have the isk to buy the blueprints (they can get really pricey) well just sell some of that ore on the market... whats this, theres no other players to buy your minerals? well I guess your just going to grind some lvl 1 missions mindlessley until you can get the isk for destroyer blueprints... and then you will need to build those.

repeat add nauseum, until FINALLY you have your battleship, and all the fittings you need for it, victory is yours, time to grind those lvl 4 missions for some dank isk... too bad you got nothing left to spend it on, well, time to start grinding for that solo titan then. that you will never actually have a use for. mining titan maybe?

i understand what you are saying , in eve the game was made with pvp in mind, the bulk of the gameplay is actually pve , what i would suggest is train a battleship , undock from jita and let rip the smart bombs , well thats my plan when i can fly them .

after you have done this come back and say that wasnt fun , if you get in a corp with many members who do a bit of everything , and have some wars , you will be amazed on how much fun you are missing .

suggest you join a corp who does many things .

wish you well

Sounds like Factorio... in space. Not half bad, just not as good.

But yeah Egosoft's X series would be a lot better game than EvE Offline. Or even Microsoft's Freelancer. Ancient, but combat is great, and it has mods to have capitals available.

Dear OP, there already is a game for your needs, you can play it as MMO, within a private group or in solo mode.
IIRC, it's name is Elite: Utter Boredom, nah that's not the name, ah, yes, it's name was Elite: Carebears heaven, nah, that isn't iteither, now i remembered, it's name is Elite: Dangerous, albeit there isn't anything dangerous in the game, except when your head hits your keyboard when you fall asleep.

Your idea is stupid and already exists in the form of the Test Server. How are you (nothing better to do with your life than play games) any better than the 40 year old vets (who have nothing better to do with their lives than play games).

You're the one with nothing better to do than post a sh*t idea about a thing that already exists that you were too lazy to look for, before flaming the people who helpfully inform you how stupid you're being.

Bold text... but isnt life a game we learned in kindergarden? How to play with others? How to share a reality and interact? Either way I pity those guys that work 40 years to play golf in Florida when they retire, but what about those professional athletes who play for work? Wait this is getting convoluted and weird now so Ill stop there. LolTwisted

I do play this game for the fun of it. I'm having a lot of fun here. Many other people are too. Sorry you're not.

without the treat of getting ganked by a bunch of 40 year olds with nothing better to do with their lives?
Roll Again? ok.

they could sell it for say, between $20 to $50 (AU).
You are in luck! They do! It's called SiSi (Singularity, the test server).

... without fear of getting ganked!
There are many things you can do to mitigate that risk a lot. I say that as someone who has done much mining in the past. Learn and adapt yourself, your equipment, your behavior, and your circumstances = no problem.

... but its still a nifty idea dont you think?
no

It was rather that EVE ripped off X...

X: Beyond the Frontier was released in July 1999. EVE went live 4 years later in May 2003.
