Hey, I suffer from

Dichromacy, Anomalous trichromacy, and also Anomalous trichromacy. This gives me great difficulty in deserning shades of colors that are closely related.

Now Eve has a great palet of color choices that has made this game functionable for me, save things that are hard coded in color. Such as Rat's Icons. and agression boxing.

It takes me some focusing and time to identify the type of rat that is on the field by the overview. From cruiser to BC to Dread. You see the darker red and the black backgroud of space blend together expecially at the edges. This has cost one of my accounts a few ratting ships by stating on grid to long with a dread.

2nd and more problematic is the is going from Yellow box to red box. I can almost never identify if I have been redboxed till the damage starts to show. This gives those attacking me .. a 1 or 2 sec head start and very easily the can forefit the victory of the engagement.

Is there a way we could get these hard coded colors, as a option to change the color sceme. This way myself and those like me may not be limited by them ?

Thank you for your consideration.

There should be an advanced section in the video menu where you select your color vision parameters, and it gives you a screen layout optimized for that type of color vision. If you're not satisfied, you can try out other settings and see what works best for you.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."
