My Home Planet, which I am also the Ruler Of, is a Temperate Planet of slightly Warmer than average Climate.

I have been Endeavouring to Educate and Motivate the Population, so that they are both Righteous and Efficient in their Behaviour.

The most Interesting Aspect of my Homeworld is the Range of Animal Life that can be Found there. The Seas and Oceans are Home to some Highly Intelligent Large Cephalopod Species, while the Terrestrial Ecosystem includes a Range of Interesting Animals. There are also several different Species of Birds.

Some of my Relatives live in Space. Space is Also Interesting and Full of Wonders, including Natural Phenomena such as Nebulae and Planetary Rings, which can Provoke the creation of Art.

I grew up in a remote estate. The closest place we had for a "city" with a population of 100000 or so had no street preachers at all. While I do remember a few of those in the planetary capital, neither church nor local police encourages that sort of thing.

There were ads for private religious schools though, and people giving away all kinds of leaflets inviting to religious gatherings. Mostly government approved ones. But who knows where heresy might lurk.

I do know of Nauplius' origins. Before he fell into madness, this man actually served in the Navy in the same campaigns as my father. Except, my father was promoted and knighted for his service and Nauplius wasn't.

Home is... a peculiar concept. A place of safety and comfort. Knowable. Reliable. Since merging with the capsule, home has become a network of spacebound facilities separated by astronomical distances. Time seems less than relativistic when moving between them, like passing through a doorway from one room to the next. Not to mention the ability to transfer from body to body through quantum conveniences...

With accumulating age and experience, I wonder if the Thukker don’t have the right of it. To enjoy a perpetual state of arrival, a guest to be welcomed briefly and blessed in departure, an event that echoes forward in continuum.

To address the topic: I have been away from Gelfiven VIII for almost 15 years, but I do remember it. Gelfiven is larger and hotter than Pator, though barely out of the K Classification itself, so the plants there are greener than some Matari might expect. With lighter gravity and less air pressure, they grow in many large, broad-leafed morphologies, particularly around the tropics where I grew up pretending to be a bug, miniature and invisible in a world of giants. Like Matar, the geography of Gelfiven VIII is primarily continents of island chains separated by vast oceans. Gelflamis, lush and low, is one such formation just south of the equator. Here a rainstorm can last days rather than hours, but instead of pouring from the sky, the water tends to swirl on the winds in miniscule particles. It isn’t unpleasant, but you will still end up drenched.

Badbesver is an urban district and seaport, similar to most cities in the region. Since the land is rich for farming, Native Freshfood partners with many agricultural co-ops to produce crops for the rest of the Republic. It’s antinomy on a geological timescale; a white city on the ocean, struggling against an untiring and unpitying tide of green. A child can flourish here, though I do not miss it.

She's joking, Mr. Nauplius.

... At least, I think she's joking. If she were doing it properly she'd be pulling their eyelashes from their lids while they screamed and then making them use the finished brush to sign documents declaring their surrender.

It's kind of a lot of trouble for even a really bloodthirsty capsuleer to be going to, so, probably joking.

Korama IV. Gas planet, in the Korama system.

Like a typical gas giant, the planet doesn't have a 'surface' so much as a liquid state layer. It has hab-domes that 'sail' on this surface, a cheaper and easier method of installing extractor networks then tying to suspend them in the air. Floating cities, that mostly just 'go with the flow'. Trying to control direction is pretty pointless when the air is a never ending storm, and the 'water' is a broiling broth.

Living on the planet is a dull affair unless you're related to any of the senior foremen. When you're a giant glorified oil-come-gas rig, there's little to no room for luxuries except that which you can produce yourself. Everyone, from the most senior foreman's nephew, to the toilet cleaner's daughter is expected to earn their place under the strict terms of rental contracts.

But, for all that hardwork between schooling, what makes me still miss the place? The sky. There is not a single Gallente boulevard, nor Caldari electric Market, or an Amarr procession or Minmatar festival that can match the sheer power and beauty of Mother Nature at her most wroth.

Through the thick layers of the Hab's Domes, you can see fire, anger and unrelenting force. A display of multicoloured lightning (due to the effects of the atmosphere), winds, gushing through clouds of orange, red and yellow, that are visible... Waves of the strangest glistening kind, smashing against the edge, and parts of the atmosphere igniting for a brief second before being snuffed out, all illuminated only by such natural phenomena and the bright artificial gleam of a man-made city.

The only thing that comes close to such a wonder is its absolute antitheses. The calm rising of a yellow star sun along a sky you can breathe in.

"Face the enemy as a solid wall For faith is your armor And through it, the enemy will find no breach Wrap your arms around the enemy For faith is your fire And with it, burn away his evil"

I would like to confirm that my statement that I thrice removed peoples eyelid hair in order to make it into stationary was, indeed, a joke, yes.

I mean, I need to consume their entire bodies as part of the ancient ritual I use to absorb their power, so it isn't really an option.

...Gods, this forum is too weird.

Just to make it clear, that ritual isn't real, either. It is a fiction that I made up as a punchline. It is not derived from or inspired by anything in reality.

I am very, very interested in these Achuran power absorbtion rituals, Lady Ikiryo. Although you retracted your admission that you performed such rittes, the fact that you mentioned them at all is important; such rites are doubtless part of the cultural milieu you were raised in and I want to learn as much Achuran occultism as possible. Sadly, Ms. Jenneth has only been marginally helpful in that regard; perhaps we can put aside our past difficulties and work together in recovering this lost knowledge that the Red God wants his Chosen to have.

Nauplius, I specifically put in that disclaimer at the end in anticipation of what you said. If you look again, you will notice that I not only said that I did not perform the rites, I said they don't exist. And they don't. They are fake. I made them up. The mechanics of the joke, you see, were that I deliberately thought of the most awful thing one can do within a vague veneer of tradition and spiritualism, and claimed I was engaging in it after right having refuted doing the original terrible act I claimed to have participated in, as a means to surprise the reader with the whiplash of having their expectations sharply subverted. This is the complete explanation for my actions which I hoped would be understood.

I feel like I'm actually a little insulted, or maybe just baffled, that your impression of Achur spirituality would allow for cannibalism. I would teach you an actual Achuran ritual with a historical basis - Probably that one with the bugs in the jar or whatever - So you could observe how these things, in reality, are not usually 1) So ridiculous, 2) Based around murder, but I feel like you'd probably find some way to interpret it in a way that involved killing slaves, so I think I'll abstain.

Given that Achurans have in historical memory practiced the occult ritual of the eyelash paintbrushes, I fail to see how the existance of other dark rites can be ruled out a priori; doubtless the Achuran equivalent of the Theology Council supresses such rites when it finds them, as I suppose does the Caldari corporation that owns your planet. But all dark rites are valid when used by the Chosen to glorify God.

That said, I promised Aria that I would not add slave sacrifice to any Achuran witchcraft or other occultism I learned from her, and I shall make the same promise to you.

My home planet? It is roundish, some trees, a few lakes, an ocean or two, and breathable air. Yup, truly a planet suitable for habitation by humans. There are mountains and valleys and all manner of geological structures and formations. Even native flora and fauna. It also rains occasionally.

I want to paint my ship Periwinkle.

That is interesting Ms. Hegririn. I spent spent a good five years at the Native Freshfood school orbiting Gelfiven IX - IV. Though I never went planet side the whole time.

As for my home, I never really had one though there are several places that can fit the concept pretty well.

In short:
- The Veszith Wreathe-class trading ship: Cramped but I enjoyed being around my family.
- Hjoramold III Joint Harvest Station: Didn't spend too much consecutive time there but this is where my family goes often enough. The monthly parties are great, Half of the station is Ammarrian controlled though. No one goes to that side. (Closest thing to a stable home I had was here)
- Hrokkur VI-IX Vherokior Academy: Teachers there are strict and the station is not as well funded as the high-sec equivalent is but it was cheaper and I made friends there. GREAT RESTAURANT.
- Gelfivin IX-IV: The stations were nice but I spent most of my time huddled over paperwork and exams or in the docking bay which was nicely organized for my instruction. And later, all I ever really saw was my quarters for sleep.

Longer Explanation:
I was born in transit on a civilian Wreath class trading ship called The Veszith. Never really had parents as the one that bore me left on the next station that The Veszith docked at. To this day I still don't really know why she left or who she was but that's never bothered me, my family is my clan aboard the ship.

The crew of the The Veszith is ever changing but we mostly have crewed by members of the sister Vherokior clans: Grey, Greyjorrin, and Kaldagrey. (I've been told by both Kaldagrey and Grey clan members that each is the parent clan but I don't know the truth of it (Grey obviously Blink)) I was named Victalei in the same clan of the Captain: Torrin Grey. I spent most of my early childhood aboard The Veszith schooled by the the teacher aboard along with other family kids of the ship or were in transit between stations.

The Veszith was mostly employed in courier and trading jobs between stations with one of our biggest employers being Native Freshfoods. We didn't usually have enough to purchase enough for temp housing at the stations so even when docked, most of us stayed on the ship with the exception of the Joint Harvesting station at Hjoramold III where we have a block of station side quarters contracted out to the Veszith in the Republic district of the station so many trading trips ended here. We didn't spend too much time overall here but overall life there was pretty meh. There is still a pretty heavy Amarrian presence in Hjoramold in general but the Hjoramold III station has a pretty large Matari district including one of the East-side gardens. No one really went to the slaver side of the station and no slavers came over to our side so it's a little odd of a situation. There's a monthly celebration held. I think it's for the continued profit of those in employment or something. I don't know, everyone attends for the company and the drinks ^.^.

Anyway I spent most of my early childhood on The Veszith. Once I went through Voluval and got the Fjaikolj Point mark the captain started to tutor me in captaining a ship for about a couple years and served as the second-in-comand's assistant at which point my named changed to Victoria to honour my new path in following Captain Torrin's footsteps. After that I was accepted to start secondary schooling at the Vherokior Academy at Hrokkur VI -IX which was a quarter funded by the Grey clan and the rest by Native Freshfoods after I agreed to an employment term at the conclusion of my schooling.

From there I spent in study at Hrokkur VI-IX which had this AMAZING restaurant that served this seaweed dish (that I now make for the Hjoramold parties ^.^). Not too important, just thought I'd reccomend that resteraunt if you ever find yourselves in the area. Other than that I spent my off times serving on The Veszith so didn't really get a chance get used to living there before finishing my schooling at the Native Freshfoods under the capsuleer program under a Vherokior general scholarship recommendation from Miss Eng Hrelst. Didn't really know why she helped but it meant the relief of the financial burden was lifted off of the Grey clan. There I spent five more years in study at the school at Gelfiven IX-IV and five more years mainly in transit between the Gelfiven V Werehouse and the Gulfonodi Plantations under a tutorship/internship program so never really had a chance to settle into my Gelfiven IX-IV quarters. And from there there was just the graduation and capsuleer ceremonies and final classes at Matar.

Sorry for the long post but it's a little hard to separate what I would consider my childhood home(s) planet/station/ship and what they were like ^.^. I've never really been in one place for long.

Horde does not, to my knowledge. I am temporarily assigned to this gang of heathens, cut-throats and thieves to carry out an assigned mission and to develop my skills as fleet support.

My Marine uniform may not be worn on this particular mission, but it still constitutes a form of home for me.
