The only worthwhile Mass Effect was the original one. Like with most games they end up being milked dry, at this point they are milking a dead cow as most of the old player base has moved on to better ventures.

I think at this point EA wants to sell us a mutilated cattle. They already sucked all blood from it and removed some vital organs.
