If disconnected from the server while in space, your ship (if not warp-disrupted or warp-scrambled) will align itself, warp off to a random location, sit there for 1 minute and then disappear.

If involved in combat with NPC ships, the timer is 5 minutes.

If involved in combat with Player ships, the timer is 15 minutes.

If your ship is destroyed during the Disconnect timer, another 15 minute timer starts for your pod..

Upon disconnection, all active modules will continue to boost until their current cycle is completed and then deactivate.

thanks for the explanation, seems like stable active tank won't save my ship from a disconnection either. and when my game isn't responding but still hasn't showed "socket closed" and closed itself, it seems safer to pull out my internet wire than to wait for responds (assuming no tackle on field, which is the most case in lv3 missions).

Yeah, usually a large Buffer tank will last during the initial alignment for disconnection warp, even when under a Stasis Ewar effect. However the amount of alignment time is affected by active propulsion module, specifically the amount of cycle time left on it when disconnected.

I've lost ships to NPC's before but never during a disconnection, even when running an active shield boost tank. Just remember to destroy all Ewar NPC's asap after warping into the site to insure your ship will survive if disconnection does happen.

15 minute pod timer is for PvP. Basically if ship is warp-scrammed and disconnection happens, the ship will try to warp but won't be able to and the player or players will continue shooting it. When the ship is destroyed, the pod ejects and warps off to a random location where it sits for 15 minutes allowing players the chance to scan it down and kill it.

Anyway, good luck to you.

afaik non-offensive active mods stay active till you run out of cap or your ship disappears. One of the main reasons for running a cap stable fit is that it will survive nearly all disconnects. It has been a while since I've tested so I can't remember if things like webs or scrams stay active, and I don't think I ever tried remote assist mods.
