Sound ceased working after extended downtime

Exactly what the title says. I've confirmed this is not the mute button, and that it is program specific. All other sounds on the computer work fine. I've bounced all the sound bars back and forth to get changes, nothing works.

Relevant computer info:
Alienware M14x
Realtek High Definition Audio

Bug report has been sent, but I'm unsure what diagnostic files would be needed/useful. If anyone else has suggestions, fire away.

Having run the repair tool, cleared my cache, uninstalled and re-installed, it is still not working. No sounds what so ever from EVE. At a loss to figure out what could be causing this.

Hi not sure if this will help you but check in taskbar/sound ->volume mixer when I reinstaled last time for some reason it started with mute on might be something similar.

I also have lost all sound. I have Realtek High Definition Audio as well.

Oh crap, I have that too. Gonna have to test it when I get back home.
