You were fun salvaging for a while (8m ISK each). Not really worthwhile to take the time now that they're 4m ISK and dropping...

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Doesn't matter what the price is in Market, salvaging is always worth the time to do it, especially for those of us who manufacture goods to sell.

Maybe if you're not just selling the drops and such raw. Even in my Golem I hardly use my tractor beam or salvage drones: either they'd get shot down or I'm using my lights to kill frigs or focusing on shooting stuff to worry about. Some missions are decent enough, though...key word is "some."

I get more from my MTU.

I run all my operations through my trade/production alts these days. The opportunity cost of looting/salvaging outside of very specific scenarios is too high for me.

Whether you use the salvage or sell it is irrelevant. It has very little bearing on your overall profit from manufacturing (I say very little because salvaging your own stuff has a small downward pressure on the price of materials).

The loot/salvage has a value regardless of what you do with it. The question is whether it makes more sense to spend time collecting salvage, or will you make more isk blitzing? If you make more isk blitzing, you should do that, and you can buy what you would've salvaged but still have more money left over.
