Trying to create a Steam Account

I didn't know where else to post this, but I bought this game on steam around 2010... I have a bunch of cash in my steam wallet where I want to purchase PLEX to use for game time for my main account... I realize that my main account is NON steam... So I want to create a steam account and trade the PLEX to my main account...

So I open the launcher through steam to create a Steam account and I see no such option of being able to create one... Can someone help walk me through this? My subscription ends tomorrow trying to get this PLEX in by then... All I see is my accounts, the option to create or add an account, none of which seem to take Steam into consideration

Any help will be greatly appreciated and thank you!

Issue Resolved

You need to PERMANENTLY remove any eve online serial codes to your Steam Account and redownload the free application this pertains to anyone that purchased EVE via steam before 2013ish I believe
