I just installed a new HD and I reinstalled EVE. I still have access to my old HD and I have found folders in App Data, Program Files, the EVE game folder and none of them moved my windows, chat channels, UI, or overview to the new game. How can I et those back? It is a real PITA to do it all again. Cry

C Drive\users\{user name}\Appdata\local\CCP\EVE\ {link to EVE install dir}

There's settings default and perhaps also a default_1
Assuming the char you want to bring back is the last one you logged in check both folders and sort on date, you're looking for the latest core_user and core_char files. Check which _default folder has the newest 2 files. Copy those 2 files to the new HDD

If it's not the last character then log him in, check the filenames and simply overwrite them with the files from the old HDD
