Announcement: Demon Legion Summoning Temple Now Operational

For weeks now, the 12,500 Slaves that I delivered to Efu V - Moon 1 - Genolution Biotech Production in the hopes of obtaining samples of the Kyonoke pathogen have resisted infection, even though the pathogen in question has elsewhere demonstrated science-defying means of passing through hazmat suits and similar containments. As usual, Pilot Aria Jenneth provided the explanation: the SoCT has sealed the infected decks on its station by means of ancient Jovian occult wards powered by arcane sigils. Protected by the power of such wards, my slaves in the Efu V - Moon 1 - Genolution Biotech Production station have no chance of being infected.

The SoCT is not alone in the ability to command occult powers. However, even a powerful magician such as myself, armed with the divine names and the sacred symbols and the consecrated blood, cannot hope to breach ancient Jovian occult wards by means of single demon servitor, even powerful demons such as Bhaalgorn. No, I require entire DEMON LEGIONS.

Beyond the occult knowledge that I already possess, the summoning of demon legions requires two additional things:

  1. Space
  2. Enormous numbers of sacrifices

And thus, I have constructed in my very own home system of Mehatoor a new Demon Legion Summoning Temple with ample room for the summoning of demon legions and the slaves needed to feed such occult operations. Due to the acts of terrorism inflicted against my last Temple, it is necessary for me to restrict docking rights to this one; however, Interbus and baseliner shuttle transportation will remain available for those followers of Naupliusism who wish to assist in the summoning of demon legions against the SoCT's occult wards of Efu V - Moon 1 - Genolution Biotech Production. Docking rights for other pilots and corporations may be available upon request.

Even so, may the Blood Age come quickly. Amen. Amarr Victor.

Over 40,000 slaves have now been added to this facility in order to serve as fuel for the summoning rites.

Classically, a Demon Legion is organised thusly:

A group of 10 Demon Legionaries forms a squad, known in the Demon language as a "Contubernium", the commanding demon being known as a "Decanus".

10 of these Contuberniums, form a "Centuria", or Demon Company, the highest ranking Decanus is known as a "Centurion", and commands the Centuria.

10 Centuria form a "Legio", or Demon Legion, the highest ranking Centurion is known as a "Legatus", and is in command of the whole Legio.

Are you sure it's not a manipular legion? The demons then must be organised in groups of 120, called manipulae, and in three ranks: hastati, principes, and triarii. Also let's not forget the light velites which form a skirmish force.

I have granted the Church of the Crimson Savior docking rights to the Demon Legion Summoning Temple should its members wish to investigate the command structure of the demon legions first hand.

Gutter Press, Diana Kim, and Tsao Aubbes have been given docking rights as well.

The Akagi Initiative, remember ? They declared war on you to keep you out of Caldari space, and/or prevent you setting up another temple.

And they call me crazy.

Talk about existential poppycock wrapped in a liberal dose of gobbley-****.

Already some of my research (not ready for publication) has indicated that the Talocan did indeed travel the stars and visited a number of ancient empires.

There is a good chance that ancient Athrans as well as the Takmahl may have viewed the visitors as either Seraphim and/or Demons.

Necromancy and Demonology is no way trying to rip the sub-space dimensions apart. Only the Jove and Sansha seem to know how to that best.

All you are doing is wasting good Flesh and Blood for an empty cause.

No Gauntlet of the Chosen for black market exotic dancers this time? You sadden me, Napkins.

He's a madman with his own vision of the world, reasoning with him is futile. But then again, who isn't?

You are a weakling, Nauplius. The blood you spill shows that you are.

Leave the baseliner slaves alone. Those sacrifices won't help you.

Go for those who are chosen to ascend, those who did.

Kill capsuleers that carry the gene. Their clone blood must be good enough.

Can you, bottom feeder?

God can make worthy sacrifice out of the most filthy of slaves. It is not necessary to offer him Empyreans.

Now, I don't know much about demons, but isn't the Bhaalgorn a battleship and not a demon?

There are several forms of Demon Legion, with several different organisational structures, depending on their intended mission.

As well as various ad-hoc formations for particular objectives, which would include manipulae on occasion.

Come on, Nauplius. You're making it far too easy for Akagi. They'll shoot themselves in their own foots if you just sit back and give them a chance. Or maybe blow themselves up. My poor memory is making it difficult to remember.

In response to this historical criticism, the Demon Legion Summoning Temple shall have multiple layouts of the Triangles into which the demons are summoned, supporting both the manipular legions as well as the forms described by Ms. Valate.

Well, I, for one, am glad we got that cleared up. Who knows what could have happened otherwise ?
