I encounter these level 4 courier missions often:

Enemies Abound (2 of 5) Objectives
The following objectives must be completed to finish the mission:

Transport Objective
Transport these goods:
Pickup Location 0.4 Pavanakka III - Caldari Constructions Warehouse (Low Sec Warning!)
Drop-off Location 0.6 Ichoriya V - Caldari Navy Logistic Support
Cargo 1 x Encoded Data Chip (0.1 m³)

(The route generated by current autopilot settings contains low security systems!)

I used to do them in a shuttle, believing I could get in and out before anyone knew what was up. I was doing okay... until I met my first gate camper. Millions of isk lost in implants.

What ship would be best for these trite in and out of low sec transport missions? What kind of fit when one does not want to PVP, but simply wants to get in and out alive? I was thinking Navy Hookbill.

BTW. I just did this in a Caldari Shuttle. I made it alive and I need a new change of pants and underwear. Today was a good day.

Ceptor something like this

[Raptor, Traffic Control]
Inertial Stabilizers II
Inertial Stabilizers II
Inertial Stabilizers II

Medium Shield Extender II
Medium Shield Extender II
EM Ward Amplifier II
EM Ward Amplifier II

[empty high slot]
[empty high slot]
[empty high slot]

Small Polycarbon Engine Housing I
Small Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer I

Nearly unlock able before it is in warp 1.91s still has enough 9.3k EHP against 1x smartbomb BS
Put a MWD in your Cargo switch it with one Shield Extender when needed.

Insta-warp Hecate.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

travel ceptors are awesome, Dramiel is very good too, but might attract a bit more attention.

Insta-warp Hecate is built for this. It's just a bit expensive when done right.

BRs are just incredibly useful for other things and quite fast in general.

Travelceptors are cheap but tend to die to smartbombs.

Yachts.... are overkill, but will easily get the job done.

Covops are a little slower than the other options but easily do the trick.

Yeah. Lots of options.

In my opinion a Covert Ops Frigate fit for speed and agility coupled with the ability to hide and warp with cloak is best for transporting small cargo amounts in and out of low sec systems.

For larger cargo amounts, depending on the amount of cargo to be moved, I'd use either a Force Recon Cruiser or Blockade Runner, both fit for speed and agility with Cov Ops cloak.

Main reason is Cov Ops cloak allows you the ability and freedom to create Gate, Undock and Safe Spots in systems without being interrupted.

That's what a cloak and some tactical bookmarks are for

You can also bounce of anoms that are at a random angle to the gate, Thats what i do if I don't ahve BMs in a system and I see reds in system. Still best to have 4k EHP or more just in case.

The problem with that is you're counting on not being pod killed.

This is what I am going to try in a couple of minutes on this same mission... please understand I do not have the skills for the covert ops and interceptors, but I'm skilling up. I know the rigs are far too expensive, but I have ISK to burn and like I said, I'm not taking this into battle. I'm running in and out and staying alive.

Small Energy Neutralizer II

... and made it. There was only one jump into low sec this time (sometimes it's three or four). There was a Cormorant on one side letting his friends know I was coming, an Ibis on the other side for bait. I parked at the station, logged off for a bit to throw off the scent. Warped back to the gate to find a Stilleto waiting but this thing warps in and out in the blink of an eye.

i would swap the shield hard extenders for shield hardeners.

If i was going to use that Ship this is what i would use.

Reason
1.Medium Extenders are better than small ones and can be fit on most frigs.
2.With Low Friction Rigs you can get just below 2 second align time (Uncatch-able speed), Poly Carbs are of little value if you don't have a prop mod.
3.Prop Mod for burning back to gate.
4. I doubt you would be able to kill much with the Guns/Nuet and with no prop mod/web/ scram people could happily long point you.

That being said A condor can do the same job for much cheaper. This one has a faster Align time, greater top speed and more EHP, 4X cheaper too.

The Hecate fit has an align time of 1.07s and an EHP of around 15k. It's relatibely cheap (all T2/meta) and versatile enough that you can utilize the same fit for 'Cargo', 'Recon 1-3' and 'Anomaly 1-2'.
