Drones appearing/disappearing in space

Greetings,

I can sometimes see the icons for drones in space and sometimes not. To be clear, I'm not talking about my overview, I know what's going on there. I mean when actually looking at open space.

Sometimes my drones are little green boxes and other people's drones are little white exes. However, sometimes I can't see this. I can add or remove drones in my overview and that has no effect on whether or not I can see them in space.

I assume either I am inadvertently causing this or its a bug. Can those more knowledgeable enlighten me as to which? If I am causing it can you please include details as to how.

Thank you.

The icons in space are called brackets, they are also controlled through the overview settings. The profiles you use on the overview can also be applied to the brackets in space by r-clicking the active overview tab and loading a profile to brackets. So you can have different brackets visable in space with each of the overview tabs.

There is also a shortcut (look in the shortcuts section of the esc menu as its a weird one [ctrl+alt+x} or sometging. Which can turn off brackets.

Shortcuts - Navigation - Toggle show all brackets or toggle show no brackets at the bottom of that list of shortcuts.
