Launcher on Linux Failing with - Error! see log for details

Upon starting up EVE today I was greeted with the an error message in my launcher saying "Error! see log for details"

It seems to be related to being unable to access certain files.

Launcher.log has the following:

I deleted all files associated with eve including:

~/.nv
~/.eve
~/.local/share/CCP
~/.config/CCP
~/.cache/CCP

The same issue persists after running the launcher again.

The site https://binaries.eveonline.com/bundles/wine-1.9.10-ccp-daily-16/wine_linux_wine-1.9.10-ccp-daily-16.txt.bundle.chunks is currently displaying a access denied error message.

Is this intended as part of changing support for wine versions, or something else?

Try this:

Start the launcher, click on settings, click on shared cache settings, then click on the permissions button. Allow the back window dos prompt window that appears to close on it's own and then see if the issue persists.
