Hi there, I like to spend alot of my free time doing creative writing and fiction. I've been getting really immersed into the story of New Eden. I was wondering, how would one go about getting their own chronicles or short stories published and recognised as canon or part of New Eden Lore.

Hi Zarius.

Getting your fiction recognized as EVE canon or official is very difficult bordering to the impossible. Nearly all EVE canon is written by CCP and only in very rare cases do things get picked up that players have contributed.

But, you can write your own fiction about your everyday capsuleer life or other small scale things and get lucky to get it published in the EON magazine. That still does not make it canon, though.

Alternatively you can participate in the Arek'Jaalan Project were your own interpretation of already existing EVE lore might become semiofficial.

Or you keep CCP out of it and publish on some alternate forum like on Backstage.

Thanks for the reply. So Chronicles and other EVE related fiction is generally handled by CCP. I'm guessing that applies to news stories to, with MERCURY. Turning my own EVE Capsuleer experiences into short stories and fiction sounds like it could be a good enterprise though. Thanks very much for the reply.

EVE Fiction can be pubished on the fiction portal (here) or for fully immersed fiction the Intergalactic Summit is the board.

CCP handle EVE Canon and "future facts".

Everything is interesting in its own way, getting a storyline going in game is something you'd be able to do freely.
