Broadsword interdiction mounting troubles

When I was looking at buying the Broadsword, the info said that it creates a sphere around the broadsword wherever it goes. So I bought Warp Disruption Field Generator I and a script that goes with it .
However the description that goes with the broadsword says that the field follows you everywhere, but when I click on the field generator in my high power slot it just gives me a target box.

What am I missing that makes this field generator activate per the info box for the Broadsword.

The unscripted WDFG makes a bubble. Scripted the module is targeted.

The bubble effect is only usable in null or j-space; you have to script it to use WDFG in low or high.
