I have a "Stuck Jump Clone" in a Citadel

Hi,
I have had no success in obtaining the release of a jump clone in a Citadel. The Corp 'Korvinus, run by Raven Galactic, cut services with no warning, to Citadel Studio 54%. A ticket to CCP got a response from a GM saying there is nothing we can do. The Cone bay has been shut done. When this first happened I contacted the Corp CEO Raven Galactic, who told me he'd refuel the Citadel so I could get my jump clone. That never happened. The corp CEO Raven Galactic seems to have vanished. What do you suggest? How do I get my jump clone back? My messages have gone unanswered. Seems to me that CCP should make stuck items, like my jump clone, returnable when a Citadel just cuts services with no advance warning. I can see this getting really ugly if stations go away in the future. I'm just a small guy in this big pond, my jump clone cost me some major isk, now I can't access him because some other player decides to drop out. Your suggestions on how to solve this nightmare are appreciated.
Thanks, Rex

Unless you can convince him to refuel the clone bay, you're toast. AFAIK NPC stations are not being removed, so you can always store your jump clone in one of those.
Alternatively, you could infiltrate the corp and get structure roles, then refuel the clone bay, evac your jump clone, and steal everything not nailed down in revenge.

I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

do as dark lord suggested.

the initial error was yours anyway!
you should always know the game mechanics!
why do you install a clone in someone else citadel without knowing the owner?
Be ALWAYS suspicious! it's eve! they will sell their mothers without thinking at it twice!
I ALREADY SOLD MINE! (edit: twice!!! at the same guy! #Scamming *intensifies* )

eyes wide open bro!
it's a dangerous game, dangerous world indeed! Pirate

p.s. you can always write a list of people you can trust, for example mine look like this:

1 - myself
2 - myself
3 - self my
4 - myself

On the bright side, running out of fuel is better than the module being removed.

I'm still slightly butthurt (j/k) about my own Alliance pulling a cloning facility and I'm one of the Alliance Directors:

Unfortunately, it's one of the risks we take when using Citadels for clones, when those Citadels are owned by strangers (or in my case, my own Alliance).

Best thing is either leave it until it's refueled, or destroy it and take the loss of implants, then never keep an expensive clone in someone else's Citadel again unless it's for just a short time.

I haven't yet been able to locate/contact any of the listed 40 other corp members. How do you find them when the CEO drops?

Go to evewho:

https://evewho.com/

search for the Corp. That will give you a list of Corp members. The information about the Corp might have some additional info (eg. who the diplos are, etc. if they have any).

Alternatively, check their killboard at zkillboard:

https://zkillboard.com/

That will let you know which ones are active, so you know who to contact for assistance.

Um, that list is just a rough draft. Here's the final draft of your list :

1 - Me
2 - Myself
3 - And I

Ouch, that even hurt me ............... Sad

And now my friends, what has transpired in this thread is just one of many reasons why we never use Citadels ...............

............... unless you're the owner.

No
Hard to argue with reasoning like that.

Personally, I'd like to see less safety for assets, with small chances for stuff to drop or plain explode. Then jump clones should just become assets, perhaps with an extra large fee to move them to a safe station.

Kudos to Scipio for taking that clone loss so well, I'd have gone apeshit.

If the clone bay becomes inoperable, can you still remotely destroy the clone to free up the slot or do you need to have the citadel taken down to get the slot back?
