so right now I have really low standing with SOE, i believe it is about 1.xx. What ship would I use to grind missions to get up to level 4? I was thinking blitzing 1-3 with an ishtar since it is pretty quick.

I have max missle and drone skills. Also level 5 on all cruisers.

Options right now are garmur, ishtar, and gila i guess.

Any suggestions?

I don't think you can go wrong with an Ishtar, but it seems like I've read of people doing ship comparisons in L1-L3 missions and an AC Machariel with tracking modules won out - especially if you put hyperspatial rigs on it to speed up warp time even further. I know projectiles aren't where your skills are strongest, but it really doesn't take much skill for L1-L3.

EDIT: Found the post I was thinking of. He was running comparisons between an Ishtar and a Mach in L3s and the Mach did, indeed, outperform the Ishtar pretty handily. You might do better in a smaller ship for L1s and L2s, but you really don't spend that much time running those missions. Most of your grind is spent in L3s, so bringing in an extra ship for L1-L2 seems like a waste.

A rail Tengu with warp speed sub and rigs is I think one of the best lv 1-3 blitzing ships, especially if you have ascendancies.

I used a warp speed ishtar the last time I needed to grind standings, warp in, drop sentries, blap the mission completion trigger asap, warp out.

if I were to do it again I'd probably use a rail proteus, gets better dps than the tengu and a drone bay, but a bit less range.

Seeing a lot of good suggestions. I'll try out the ishtar for now and switch it up if needed.

Not to forget while grinding SOE standings, there's 4 SOE Cosmos agents that can be seen when scrolled down here:

To get the actual mission info look up the agents here (do this before contacting the agents and accepting any mission/s):

The real icing on the cake are the 2 lvl 3 agents!
