Total Net Worth counter feedback thread

Greetings sisi denizens,

Team Genesis is developing a nifty little feature to show your total net worth in the character sheet. This feature is now live on Singularity, and we would love to hear your thoughts on it! Here is a screenshot:

The counter breaks your character's net worth down to 4 parts: wallet balance, asset net worth (estimated), contract escrow, and market escrow. Please note that the asset net worth counter will probably be a bit weird on singularity due to the market data on that server not accurately reflecting the value of items on the Tranquility server.

Asset net worth also counts any items that are in contracts or market sell orders. Escrow counters only count ISK.

i would like to see few more features

1. how long you were in certain solar system
2. total time spend on playing
3. total ships destroyed and total ships lost same for capsule lost/destroyed .

Speaking of assets... know what would be really cool? A single-click cleanup-rookie-ships option... Last time I did this I had to clear them out at about 100 different stations.

I could imagine that button causing chaos for anyone who keeps disposable cynoships lying around, >poof< and all your jump nodes are screwed at once Twisted

Will there be one of these for corps too? So those with the right roles can see the total net worth of the corp?

I would like to have a pie chart to visualize the percentage in allocation of assets e.g., cash, ships, modules, ores, structures, etc. You may use the top levels of item hierarchy in the market window as categorization of assets.

Very good feature, until now I had to calculate all of this on my own. This will help not only to keep track of your total wealth, but also if you need to make a big purchase you will know if it's worth flying around collecting assets to sell them for fast cash.

Definitely a time saver.

Good feature, but i think calculations are wrong because of BPC. Probably they count as BPO and make my total net worth few times bigger.

FYI anyone waiting for this, I recommend EVE HQ and it's Prism plugin. Feed it your full API and watch the magic.

Ditto. A total net worth on a corporate level would be great as well.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

Support better localization for the Japanese Community.

oh cool ive always wondered this since my first days playing, when I put regionwide buy orders for antimatter charge s in lonetrek and essence, and accumulated stacks in every station

That would be a really cool feature but there are no plans for this (yet).

Currently it treats blueprints like any other assets, but we are still discussing this and considering special case options.

This is a really interesting feature in theory.

It would be amazing if at least the most liquid BPCs (pirate battleships, etc) were counted as having value not as chaff.

Any chance we get to see the combined value of modules and hull for fitted ships? Fleet hangars, for instance, only shows the combined value of all hulls, but not fitted modules, which sometimes is considerably higher than former.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I think this feature should instead be used to calculate the value of a character on character bazaar.

The value of a character can increase and decrease via supply and demand, but as things stand there is no universally recognized tool for calculating a character's worth.


This way characters can be sold much like plexes. You wait until there is a need for a certain pilot type (based on alliance plans;wars, expansion, etc.) or invest in a pilot type based on current climates.


Also I like the corporate feature on net worth.

EveHQ prism still glitches and randomly stops working.
