Hi everyone. I have a question, few questions

1. Can a person make their own customs office so not to pay others to take there stuff off planet?

2. If there is a customs office already around a planet, then can a person build one for themselves, will it show both customs offices(the one the player owns+the other one another corporation owns)? Is the game programmed smartly to do that, show all the customs offices?

1 - yes you can build your own poco.

2 - one poco per planet only. (not per player) once there is a poco orbiting a planet another cannot be placed there.

you may want to train up customs code expertise, this skill will reduce the NPC portion of the tax rate at 10% per level.

speak with the owner of the poco/pocos you use and see if you can get better standings with them, most corps have reduced rates for + 5 and +10 standings.

Just be aware that people can also destroy your customs office. They're not hard to kill at all - you just have to remember to show up for the timer. Make sure your savings will be worth the risk to your investment.

And don't be greedy with the tax rate.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.
