Where do I start?

So, hopefully I'm not beating a dead horse but I thought I would pose a question. Being interested in writing my own fictional stories and having other people be able to read them, the question would be, where to start? Do I just toss up a few stories here, on this forum? Or should I run off to another website and try my luck there?

Any help would be appericated due to my rather 'Slow' thinking process. Big smile

Thanks

You've the right idea - just start, there are those who'll like your contributions but regardless the trick is just to start, I can recommend it - it'll enrich your game, improve your style, and your appreciation for the all the work that's gone into this game on every front can only increase - good luck Big smile

Write > post > process feedback > write more > post more > process more feedback and so on. If you don't get feedback, it generally means your stuff is good, but people don't want to write "I liked it" to everything. Likes feature may make that easier though.

And as you go, read what others write, read the chrons and books if you have not already, and if you're really enjoying it Google for some material on better writing.

And most important of all, have fun with it. Good luck :)
