[NPC Mining Operations][Nullsec] Drop rate, T1 & T2 Haulers,Loot value

Hey dear capsuleers!

for the past week I've been hunting down Gurista Industrial Mining fleets. Because of the longer spawn times on the venture fleet hauler I have just done two of those.

I think the drop rate for a box is about 60-75%. It's really frustrating to wait for a venture hauler and then looting nothing. Another weird thing is that I haven't come across a T2 hauler yet. Do you think it's just bad luck?

The best loot I've gotten so far was an orca skin, I suppose.



What are your experiences with the faction - nullsec NPC mining fleets?

Never managed to kill one. Ventures warp away. And spawn crazy battleship fleets.

Still unclear how the response is determined and what you need to kill them.

Maybe a warp disruptor?

I did them in high sec so i don't wait for hauler just scan belts and warp to one with hauler in it i run in two haulers in the same system at times t2 hauler is more rare and it use prop mod so hi will be in belt for much shorter time i had at least 3-4 of them warp away due to me being too slow.

Bowhead and Orca skins is what i got as most interesting ones would like to grab Rork one, T2 hauler along the normal loot(skin ore) will drop faction mining drone bpc i killed at least two of those not even knowing (was using dark blood scram and fighting a spawns in a sleipnir)

Since than i just kill hauler with gila before fleet lands and warp away until it despawns go back and loot wreck.
Fitted tempest with polarized guns and a faction scram to attempt to do the same with t2 hauler like with gila but did not have luck(too slow) of founding t2 hauler.

It pulls 2500 dps hot against minmatar and a bit less against amarr haulers(or is it reversed due to t2 resist profile?) hope il run into one(catch before it warp out) at some point just to see can i kill it before fleet land.

Solo frig spawns and cruiser yes battleship probably not there is no point of fighting any type of spawn you wreck your standings for nothing.

I went on sisi to learn the new carrier mechanics and found a mining op in one of the belts in the testing system. The miners warped out pretty quickly and I stuck around and killed the response fleet. I was pretty much glass cannon dps fit, with a shield buffer finished them off in roughly half armor.
