Hello to you all!

Bare with me as it looks like I'm writting a lot Big smile

Intro
A friend of mine convinced me to try this game that I have been interested in for a long time but always thought (too late, everyone is stronger than me). After he explained the "leveling" system and offered to help me get started: I finally caved and joined.

What I know thus far
To put it simply.... nothing. aside from missions in highsec. (just now able to run level 2 security missions)
The friend is in his solo corp doing his missions/minning and living in his own buble which is good for him but after a week worth of doing missions I really want to try and blow people up or explore.

Wormhole!!!
So I found a wormhole while scanning in my crapbox and decided "why not". I jumped through and saw a space where people were living in already (since I saw buildings in the zone). I jumped to a minning site to see what it had and decided to run for my life when big red npc's were there.... upon my return there was a bubble on the wormhole and somehow managed to jump back to safe space with not even half my hull remaining ( i think he had two volleys on me lol)

What I can provide
I'm willing to listen and learn!
I live in Canada (EST US Timezone)
I can be on most of the weekend and as far as weekdays goes I'd say 2 to 3 days for about 3 hours.
Obviously these are estimates as RL is random and I can either play more or less.
I do not have much SP at all... I am able to fly frigates/destroyers and cruisers (poorly on all accounts)
My friend has told me about the basic skills I need to train but I'm holding onto his (1 mil sp injections) that he gave me for when I join someone and they explain how to best use those.
He plans to provide me with 2 more in another couple months if I'm still arround.
I will be able to self sustain myself (by self sustain I mean leech off my buddy as he graciously offered until I can get on my own two feet where ever I end up).

What I'm looking for
Knowing myself, I need to ease into wormhole/nullsec and pvping. I can just imagine there is a lot to know and jumping into it and getting overwhelmed will on do more harm than good.
I think I'd prefer an established wormhole corp to learn from but not agaisnt a well established nullsec corp as well.
I say well established because I understand some people are trying to grow and make a name for themselves but with me, I'd probably be more of a hindrance for now.

im currently at work so eve mail me or send me a pm if you think you can mold me into something worht flying with!

I'm going to take a little time to decide based on the "obviously overwhleming flow of" interrests people show for this complete rookie. P
Worse case scenario... I'll train my skills a bit more and maybe join factional warfare that I've heard a little about.

Thanks for reading this!

TLDR version:
- I'm super noob...
- Train me in wormhole/pvp in your corp?
- will do my best to not dissapoint :)

Hi,

Due to the low SP I can't help you with a corp, but I can give some advice:

1) Start with training for a cov ops ship. You need to be able to fly cloaky in wh's.

2) Learn how to make ISK in a wormhole. At first exploration and gas sites can be profitable. Better and safer compared to mining.

3) Learn how to pvp. Best way to achieve this is by just doing it. You will loose a lot, but if you fly cheap stuff that you can afford to loose, its the best way to learn it.

I think joining a wh corp is difficult without the cov ops, but you can try. I'm sure some will respond here!

Good luck o7

If you're thinking about something new, join The House of Asterion.

We're an active EU-TZ PVP Wormhole corp looking for a few more members. We have a C3 and C5 static, good for solo and group PVE. And everything is set-up for industry as well.

I represent a little pvp C4 corp known as Sleeper Dreams, we're active mid/late night USTZ into the early morning hours (AUSTZ). We're constantly searching for things to pew or sleepers to farm, depending on what the wormhole chain provides us. We provide a fun atmosphere to learn and enjoy playing eve in, and offer high end pvp/gang fights to those who are in search of it.
