3 RR domi for c4?

Hello,

I am just curious if domi navy's are viable to do c4 sites in a wolf rayet with the 78% armor bonus.
I've looked at the forums and I've read that spider fleets can be done but I wanted to know if that was still the case in 2017. The threads I read were 3-4 years old.

If they can be done, is a domi navy best? Or could it be done on a regular domi?

Does anyone have a c4 RR domi fleet fit?

3 regular domis will be fine with c4 sites, doesn't even need a WR effect.

Thx. Yeah would definitely prefer regular domis. Navy domis are insanely expensive it seems.

Do you have a fit by chance? I've never had the need to fly a domi so have no experience fitting one up for c4 sites

C4 is annoying, sleeper appears like 100+KM, force you to use two DLU, limiting your capacitor transmitter at 2.
You need to be carefull you are not cap stable (just cut the rep on the focus one)

I agree with the general sentiment , while doable C4s in Domis is not a great experience.

If you can get 4 together you could happily do C5s (drop a DLA and a Sebo to add more reps ect) and since ships spawn much closer you isk per hour would most likely be higher. Otherwise 2 Tinker Snakes can handle most C5 site.

What would you recommend in c4s then? We are in a wolf rayet so can't do rattlesnakes sadly

In order of effectiveness of things i have tried.

Solo
Paladin (MJD into range, has good DPS and range)
Golem (not great for you but good range and OK DPS)
Rattlesnake (again not great for you but otherwise one for the few solo able ships)

Fleet
Armor Snakes (Armor Nightmares work as well) + Nestors (Snakes get like 1200+ DPS, Nestors get like 600-700DPS)
Pretty much any long range DPS ship + Logi (Nestors or T2 logi)
RR Ships like the Domi (may be as good as the Logi+DPS depending on fleet size)

The issue that I see with the Domis is that your DPS and mobility is not great. Hell 3 Domis is only a bit more DPS than you get from a Paladin but you cant MJD as often and is more prone to errors.

That being said , don't let me stop you, if all you can fly is Domis then the fact that it will work is all that you need to know. Better to be doing something now than just waiting for training ect. Another hint is if you have more than 3 people, put the others in full DPS ships (Apocs would be a good cheap option).
