Please recommend an Eve Online podcast for me to listen to so I can absorb some of the game lore and news.

A short YouTube series, similar to Obsidian Ant for Elite Dangerous (Yes I know it's a very different game, I'm just using that as an example) for me to catch up on stuff from time to time.

http://evepodcasts.com start there and give them all a test. The podcasts vary in focus or lack of and it all is dependent on personality (yours and theirs )

I am biased as I have been on a few and consider a lot of the casters friends.

For some reason that podcast is not on iTunes. Hence, I missed it earlier when I searched for podcasts in iTunes. Why is it missing?

mainly because it is a link to a website that lists podcasts, not a podcast in and of itself

My two personal favorites are:

The Highdrag Podcast - this show covers a broad range of all Eve Online sorts of topics. Could be the latest drama from reddit to upcoming player hosted events. They bring guests on often to offer their insights in their flavor of Eve Online. It's pretty good!

Hydrostatic - this show covers lore specifically, and they have a terrific archive of specific topics in that list there. It's a great listen!

Give them all a try, this game has a unique culture and there are probably a dozen active podcasts and media sites so it's more about what you like and can stand listening to Smile (not a slight against other ones but I'm not thick skinned enough for the r/eve rabble rabble)
