How do I use jump bridges?

A player showed me how, but my new Corp showed me so much that day that I was a little overwhelmed.

Unlike regular jump gates there's nothing to select, approach and jump through.

I seem to be able to select the green line/bridge itself and select the next system, but again nothing to activate.

... you've got 5,000 people in your corp. Surely asking in corp channel would get you the best response quickest?

Maxim 6. If violence wasn’t your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it.

If in doubt about how to do something in Eve. R-click it. Or shoot it. But try R-clicking it first and see what options appear in that contextual menu.

There's no obvious gate to select, approach and activate, (at least not on the "Map (beta) ) so how do I activate it?

Right clicking brings up a menu, but not one which has an obvious activation command.

The Jump Bridge is a Titan (or a Black Ops Battleship but that's specialist) class ship, it will be fairly obvious. You right click the Titan to access jump options. Don't bump into the Titan approaching it or people get mad, just orbit at 500m or 1000m and right click the ship, go to BRIDGE TO and choose the Cyno at destination (either player or structure) Pirate

(presuming you mean at a Pos and not a Titan/Blops bridge)

Then you are r-clicking the wrong thing. Make sure your overview is set up corectly to show them. You could also use the default 'all' overview profile to help find it.

Also make sure you are at the correct location and you haven't accidently warped to the wrong Pos.

So, are you saying I need to find them on the overview, not the map?

Ok, so what do I look for on the overview?

If it's a POS mounted Jump Bridge you're after it will be anchored at least 15KM outside the POS shield. Set overview to show all and look for Jump Bridge, right click it and BRIDGE TO destination.

Seriously tho you're in one of the biggest alliances in the game, the vast majority of them should be able to answer this question for you with less wait than on the forums.

To use a jump bridge you have to be next to the jump bridge. Then R-click it (on the overview is easiest or r-click the icon in space).

Your corp should have all the jump bridges bookmarked for you so they are easy to find. Otherwise you should go bookmark them yourself. Which is also a good way to become familiar with the area you are living in.

Whilst asking stuff on the forums is a good way to get info. You are in (probably) the most new player friendly alliance in the game. Ask your corp and alliance mates for help in getting settled in your new home.

Ok, so in that case what do I look for on the overview? Jump gates are round, so easy to spot on the overview.

Are jump bridges artificially created gate? Created by the corp for use of corp members?

I think they are called 'Jump portal Array'.

Personally I find looking at the words easier than some small badly designed icon. However if you prefer icons try this image

I think its all still in date.

FOUND IT!

Here's the easiest way to do it, for the benefit of any other new players who read this.

Travel to that system.

Look in corporate bookmarks for bookmarks in that system.

You should find it, right click on the book mark and warp to, then use the jump bridge.
